Trump was going with the "experts" that were/are advising him. Trump didn't make the models. I expect some to get fired after this. Also, it seems Pelosi agreed with Trump! "Come to Chinatown!"

 

Oh give me a break! Trump CONTRADICTED the experts most of the time! He was told IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY BY US INTEL that the virus was very bad in China and was expanding and growing, and that it would show up here soon so Trump should take specific steps to mitigate it. So Trump played golf and said it was a minor irritation that would soon go away.

He has been told we need millions of masks, medical gowns, and tests, and he said nothing for WEEKS about it.

Some CV tests have been known to produce false positives. I haven't heard of a false negative being found.

I have 12 masks at home One kept in each glove compartment, just in case a business insists, i havent put one on yet.

At this point if some business insists, I might just go to the competition.

Today the lines to get in were too long at home depot, so I went to lowes. Lines were too long Walmart, so I went to target.

It is evident that they weren't alarmed, because they chose to remain in his presence, and because they didn't verbally express any concern at the time, or since. If they aren't alarmed, it would be asinine for me, or you, to be.

He didn't wear a mask because he is tested every day and can demonstrate himself to not be any danger to others. FWIW, I have said from the beginning that he should have worn one anyway, if for no other reason than to avoid the wrath of the low information crowd, and their hostile media. But really, it's their policy, he should have worn a mask.

The entire Mayo staff is probably required to wear masks because that's the most expedient and efficient way to manage that policy. Why would they keep up with who's been tested, and how many days have elapsed to give some permission to go maskless, when they can just tell everyone to wear a mask?

 

Sure. I would imagine some percentage of tests handled by the commercial labs who are overwhelmed by sheer numbers might be wrong. But, the White House has a dedicated medical staff who is focused on getting it done right. It is unlikely they would return a false negative.

I am sorry the Vice President is so sickly and feeble that he can't lift a mask to his face....must be an extreme effort for him.....as it must be an extreme effort to show respect for others..

 

He is tested every day. Regardless, the incubation period is 5 days, so as long as he has been tested more frequently than that, he can be confident that he is not contagious.

 

Results in 15 minutes.

 

Still waiting for your link stating that he is tested every day. And you can be infectious before you show any signs or symptoms!
