The staff at Mayo clinic are "low information folks" !!???

Gee, low information folk sure don't know what the Mayo clinic is....the REST of the world does...

Would it really have injured his undeserved pride to wear a mask like every other adult was wearing., show RESPECT, be a good CHRISTIAN ?????....he has no "looks" so it wasn't vanity...

DUH UH,,,the STAFF at Mayo are all wearing masks...…….they are NOT low information folks...there is a REASON they are wearing masks....

Are you saying that staff at MAYO CLINIC don't know what they're doing???

A low information person would think Pence knows better than the Mayo clinic...

    Can't answer my question?

BTW, hard to tell if they're alarmed because , like DECENT, respectful people, they are wearing masks...

How the F do you know they weren't alarmed? Show PROOF of that.

Now, do tell me why Pence didn't wear a mask ? Is he a "low information folk" ? Sure looks like it (besides being a disrespectful creep).

Now tell me why ALL the people at Mayo are required to wear masks? You seem to think that the Mayo clinic is "low information" …..maybe they need YOUR "expert" advice....LOL!

The test gives instantaneous results ?

I am sorry the Vice President is so sickly and feeble that he can't lift a mask to his face....must be an extreme effort for him.....as it must be an extreme effort to show respect for others..

    So that only leaves ..lazy/disrespectful/weak/disabled/stupid/uncaring.

There are more than one test...some take 2-3 days for results. A serologic test may not be able to show if you have a current infection because it can take 1 to 3 weeks to make antibodies after symptoms occur...

...and the CDC recommends protecting yourself AND OTHERS even if you test negative.....unless one is an uncaring jerk...

Saw video of him saying that he is tested every day again this morning on the CBS morning news. If I can find a link, I'll post it.

You can be asymptomatic and be contagious, but you can't be contagious until after the incubation period, 5 days after you are exposed. So, if you are tested more frequently than that, you can be sure you are not a danger to anyone.

As a side note, those who are infected, but asymptomatic, are not nearly as efficient spreaders as those who are coughing, sneezing, and wiping runny noses. You pretty much need to have close, almost intimate contact to be infected by an asymptomatic carrier, assuming you mind your own good hygiene as you should.

Yes you can. Incubation period is the time to showing symptoms which occur after you have become infectious. But I agree with you on bolded in blue which is a reason why masks do help in stopping spread

Everyone should agree here that politicians in general suffer from authoritarian complex disorder and have tendency to exempt themselves from the rules they try to impose on the rest of us

Well some tests can just be faulty. So I'd actually be surprised if each time he is tested there wasn't two or more test kits used. This is probably how they manage it.

In 2024, he'll be Spiro Agnew....

But I do give him a bit of credit for retroactively realizing his mistake..... Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, does that in this administration, so mini-kudos, VP Q-tip....

    SNIP
Vice President Mike Pence on Sunday said that he should have worn a mask when visiting the Mayo Clinic, a reversal that came after a harsh backlash for not adhering to the hospital’s policy during the coronavirus pandemic.

“I didn't think it was necessary, but I should have worn a mask at the Mayo Clinic and I wore it when I visited the ventilator plant in Indiana” two days later, Pence said at a Fox News virtual town hall on Sunday, nodding sheepishly.

Thought that would have been pretty obvious.... Disgraced former VP of a seriously disgraced former P...

Pence would be an improvement over the current situation, but he'll still have a fair amount to answer for when out of office...
