    Geez, let it rest. If you do not want to work at some job because it's hazardous, then don't.

    If your employer wants to ask you to come back from a furlough, or after being laid off, and you worry that the work conditions will cause you to get sick and die, tell your employer about your concerns. I'm sure most employers will work with you and your concerns.

    If worse comes to worse, and you have a jerk for a boss who refuses to address your concerns, there are OSHA regulations which allow you to file a complaint concerning unsafe working conditions. You can also see if the local TV News affiliate would be interested in your story. Media pressure can sometimes make a difference.

    But get off this notion that you have no choice, and are forced to work, you always have a choice. It sucks if that choice means you no longer have a job, but it was our fabulous government wizards of smart who caused a lot of this to happen to us.

    Seeing that numerous states are having their highest counts now is definitely not the time.

    But I support people putting themselves out there if they choose to do so.
    I just don’t want to be responsible for their healthcare afterwards.

    As long as their participation is voluntary yes and as long as their participation is voluntary no.
    Many of these people are against “socialist” healthcare — why should I pay for their healthcare?

    While I don’t think the virus is a hoax the fact that it was based on flawed models is a mistake. The virus can be pretty devastating as it attaches to the ACE2 receptor in the lungs and if it gets into the blood stream can attach to other ACE2 receptors throughout the body. It is very infectious. It isn’t something to joke about if you have comorbidities which many elderly have. I was just labeled as ‘a nice older gentleman’ so am in the danger age yet most people my age, including me, are not that worried about it. That comes from age and experience and realizing many people die at this age for various reasons and you can’t stop Mother Nature.

    Funny but those that think the Earth is overpopulated are the most vocal against any govt failure to contain the virus.

    How small? Are you in that "small part" of the demographics? How about your family or friends ?

    I assume you believe that "small part" is disposable. So I was just wondering how many in your own family and friends (if you have any) you believe are disposable.
