I knew a white guy who was threatened with being shot because he had a black (well educated) friend and invited him to his (all white neighborhood) home for a party.
Neighbor came over the next day and point blank threatened him like that.

Whether or not the presence of a firearm is perceived as being a threat means nothing of relevance. The actions taken at the time do not meet the legal definition of brandishing in the state of Georgia, and thus cannot constitute the offense of brandishing. Such is ultimately how the law of the united states work.
