I already did. The US has always been ethnically diverse and I think we’ve done alright as a country wouldn’t ya say???

Better in the past when the country was run by white supremacists than the present. Look at how polarized the country has become! And the polarization is along racial lines with the Democrats cleverly taking advantage of increasing minority population.

Look at the discontent on college campuses with (usually hoax) racist incidents convulsing our colleges and universities on a regular basis.

People in early stages of dementia can't deal with the complexity of matters they should be able to deal with coherently. It is not normal for someone who is clearly on the decline mentally to be trying to run for POTUS.

Even Reagan seems fairly competent while running for his second term and look how quickly he declined.

The only thing people are looking forward to with the Biden campaign is to see who his handlers decide his running mate will be.

And there it is folks. Anyone surprised?
Btw...this country is more polarized politically than racially. But I’m not surprised you believe it’s all about race.

I doubt anyone is surprised. I am just agreeing with the Left that this country was founded by White Supremacists and ruled by White Supremacists for most of its history.

    Do you disagree?

It is also a Leftist position the the Republicans are all racists, and is a simple fact that Blacks vote Dem 80% of the time and the Dems constantly pander to Latinos.

The Political divide and racial divide overlap to a large extent.

Do you really think there would be this division if the US were still 80% white?

I don’t give race the attention you give it. I don’t know if the US was ruled by white supremacists and at this point don’t care. That being said...clearly you’d prefer the US to be predominantly white.

Crazy thing is that the USA is actually 80% white 13% black and 5% asian. Minorities are in fact overrepresented most of the time in just about all aspects. Just like homosexuals make up less than 2% of the population but if you believe what you see on tv it appears that every 3rd person out there is gay.

    (1) I don't support Trump in hope of shrinking the size of government. One might as well oppose gravity as oppose increasing government.

    (2) I do support Trump in hope of decreasing diversity for reasons I have expounded at length here.

    (3) I support Trump mostly because I oppose globalization which is the main driving force behind the shrinking middle class, imo. I am a bit surprised you left this out of your OP.

Your twin pillars are more of a three-legged stool.

All that says is that your judgement of Trump is different than mine, and you judge my opinion on the basis of your own- but of course, don't question your own.....
    Hmmmmm.....

In many things, including politics- we don't have the option to be that selective, because we are limited to candidates chosen by others. So we pick the best qualified, knowing that the person is flawed, that some will hate and rag on it forever- and knowing that would be true even if Jesus ran for president.
I believe anybody was preferable to Hillary, we just got lucky that such a strong candidate decided to take the challenge. Not perfect- just so far beyond Hillary she wouldn't be visible without a telescope in the rear view mirror....

Of course I do. And you don't care on way or another, so it shouldn't be a problem between us.

Naturally enough since neither is a flattering reflection on the Trumpers, but that doesn't mean they aren't true. Why else would they continually put up with and even enthusiastically support such a completely abysmal failure and embarrassing buffoon. Even if he was doing some things right, (which he emphatically isn't and never has), you would think they'd qualify their unalloyed worship somehow. Trump has a cult of personality, and the best way that is achieved is to satisfy atavistic desires which many have but won't openly express and may not even realize is their real motivation

Lol at one of the most thoughtful responses this forum has ever seen, and you want to redirect to phrase the discussion in a format that aligns with your agenda. Just posing the question about diversity and forcing people to discuss on your terms assumes they must be racist.

Don't worry, your tactics are how the MSM and school system works as previously discussed. THIS is why you lost.

You're completely right, most civilized people do regard the irrational hatred of others as being a rather "crappy" attitude to take, (although some prefer the less hypocritical term of evil). The fact that some people are evil in no way justifies anyone else being evil.

I hate to be the one to tell you this but YOUR attitude in no way determines what others find theirs to be. Again, this very epidemic is illustrating quite well that hatred really knows no boundaries. The Chinese are probably the one people who have lost more people to this than any other (besides us) and there is no way they, nor anyone else, could have known that anything they were doing would cause this, yet there is a rising tide of hatred for the Chinese, particularly among Trumpers in America

I voted other - and although I very much dislike Trump - Blue have flown the coup.

The party of protest against war - are now Neocons who hate Classical Liberalism and anything related to business.

Their Environmental Policy is Bad for the Environment - and the economy. Their policies increase pollution - to higher levels than under Trump policies (and Trump was not great) .

Whats left ? - abortion and gay marriage - If Red were to get its act together - drop the religious right - and pretend to respect the principles of republicanism .. Take a Stand against reckless and politically driven environmental Policy and claim the Environment as their own issue ... Blue would be toast.

My attitude doesn't have anything to do with it. It's a genetic thing, this preference for one's own tribe. In China, they blame the virus on Africans and won't let them into stores and restaurants.

I think you might find this quote interesting:

“If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?”

Obama had a cult of personality. He insulted or arrogantly ignored those not in his cult, which turned out to be about half of all voters. Trump is the antidote to Obama.

The right would have voted for a rock before Hillary, just like the Obama cultists will vote for a guy with Alzheimer's before they'll vote for Trump.

This election, as most, is for Independents, like me. ;)

You hard-core partisans carry on! :dual:

Another strawman. No one hates the Chinese people. It's their oppressive government regime who are evil and who let this sickness and death loose upon the world, so they could reap their annual profit on January tourism.

It's one think to say you don't like his looks, his hair, his choice of words- it's another to say "abysmal failure" to the best economy in decades and so many achievements.
Either you choose to ignore the facts, or don't understand economics or concepts of equal justice, fair play- etc. I don't know which.
There's no cult here, and I think you know that.

I could say the same about you, but then I have to ask myself, other than the words you print on here, on what basis would I have to think that you haven't questioned your beliefs?

So I ask you, on what basis do you think I haven't questioned my beliefs?

Which war protesters are you referring to? The Vietnam War, or the more recent Iraq war?

Interesting comment about the religious right, but realistically, do you see the Republican party doing that anytime soon?

Pycckia, you are not on topic. Diversity is good and is not argued here. Only the anti-American racialists want to discuss it.
