Oh sure it does. You must be what ... about a quarter of the way there by now? Not long now, and you'll have uncertain herd immunity to this mutation of this virus .. yay!

How do you know about herd immunity? The common cold is a coronavirus and no herd immunity and no cure.

They don't. It's just that last soggy straw they're clutching.

When your nation surrenders like a Frenchman at the first sign of a fight, you're going to clutch straws.

Apparently DJT is very much against that voting by mail thing.

Elections are largely illusory. They convince the voters that they are in charge of government operations. It's quite a racket if you consider for how long it's been going on.

Herd immunity is a biological fact, and you call it CT.

    Desperation manifests.

I think the election of Trump gave us a bump in the road for the new world order. We aren't all blind to what is happening.

Maybe, Shoulda, Coulda Woulda. Great argument Crankster. Keep track of that story if you don't mind, and let me know how many of those youngsters die from Covid.

That herd animals pass on their infections to each other is Biology 101, maybe 102. That healthy immune systems respond to those passed on infections is old news indeed, but as you show, there are exceptions to the knowledge base.

Maybe the essential part that you don't grasp is "healthy immune systems"?

I hope you're right about that, but so far it looks like the deep state is winning as Donald is constantly on the defensive, except when he is pardoning war criminals and committing military aggression. Not quite as bad as Barack, but not far behind.

A 17-year-old Georgia boy has died from the coronavirus, becoming the youngest person in the state to be killed by the disease, officials announced on Sunday.

The Georgia Emergency Management Agency released a situation report on Sunday which showed a 17-year-old was recently added to the list of fatalities from the virus.

The teenager from Fulton County has yet to be identified, although he was listed on the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) website as having a pre-existing condition. His death was confirmed by Nancy Nydam, a spokeswoman for the DPH, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

You would think that the COVID-19 death toll hitting 100,000 or close to it, Donald Trump and his administration would mourn those who have died. But instead he goes out and plays golf. Can anyone explain this?

Maybe you have developed immunity to the common cold? But most people don't and get it year after year. No herd immunity.

I have a healthy immune system and rarely get sick like that, but that has little to do with herd immunity the phenomenon. You might not fully understand the term and what it means, but that's OK.

Maybe I have developed immunity to the common cold, and maybe you have too. If I am faithful with C, D and Zinc I do pretty good. You would too.

Nor do I take the flu shot every year. Do you?

I am pretty healthy also but most vitamins you take are expended in urine. So go ahead and convince yourself vitamins can build you up so much you won't get sick. I will use the guidelines set up by the CDC. Healthy people get sick all the time. Sweden did not do well promoting herd immunity.

I got very good grades in biology even though my main interest was genetics. But the fact is that we don't know if people will become immune after infection or how long said immunity will last. With this lack of knowledge the best strategy IMO is to avoid exposure and let the "bug" die out from lack of host.

Trump has no sympathy for anyone that died from the coronavirus.

I also had a bad year with my goats. They were dying after seeming to recover from their illness. They just wasted away. After trying everything we finally decided to vaccinate the whole herd. This was the only herd immunity that developed. All the goats that got sick died slow miserable deaths. But thankfully all are healthy now. Not one became immune after infection. At least none I know of. It was a bad experience all the way around.

Yeah, let's pretend the virus magically stopped once it got to those youngsters. That they magically managed to avoid spreading it around their communities before they were diagnosed.

No denial going on here

With the planet as over-populated with humans, lack of host will not happen.

But with the virus mutating as all virus do, and with the herd immunity slowly growing, eventually the Covid virus will become as irrelevant as other virus from the past.

This virus may be 'novel' in its engineering, but in the end it's just a virus with a very low morbidity rate.
