    A) If you measured Flu deaths in the way that covid deaths are measured, then the deadliest flu year killed around 15,500.
    B) It is absolute bullshit to claim that people did not care about those who died from the flu last year.
    C) The reason that you did not see as much discussion of the flu deaths in a year is because those deaths are expected and anticipated. The deaths from Covid-19 were a complete shock to the system.

    The fact that America is about to lose more people in ~12 weeks from Covid-19 than were lost duing WWI is a rather significant marker.

    Yea it is pathetic. Its pathetic that we needed to shutdown in the first place. Its pathetic that we're that disgusting of a people that this virus spread so rampantly. Its pathetic that grown adults need to be told to wash their hands. Its pathetic that people wont put on masks and stay 6 feet away. Pathetic is quite the apt description.

    Its the same basic guidelines man. Wear a mask, keep your distance, wash hands regularly, stay home when if you're sick.

    How is it possible to have a spike in deaths due to re-openings when we haven't had a spike in cases? One follows the other and one hasn't happened.

    Some states are seeing spikes though, 17 by last count, hopefully they wont become trends. It will take at least 7-10 days before we see the impacts of the memorial day breakout.

    Yea I cant universally make you put on a mask or practice social distancing or even basic personal hygiene. But contrary to your statement I never thought I had that power. I can only ask you to care about the health of your community the same way you're asking me to care about the health of your bank account or ability to go sit in a restaurant.

    What states that have reopened are having spikes? Some states have been open for a month now. Even Georgia is having decreasing new cases a month after opening. Your post is factually incorrect.
