You must have been living under a rock. Lots of people use olive to discribe a certain completion (Google olive skinned person it will help you understand). You seemed a bit stressed out . You learn something every day, so don't sweat it. Also im sorry you got dumped. Plenty of fish in the sea, I'm sure there is someone out there for you . *Edit As for the very limited ability for your brain to process colours. I think you definitely need it to get checked. It could an eye problem or even neurological!!!! Better safe than sorry. Please seriously consider this.
repeating yourself isnt making your position any more enlightened. we can both do that but it leads to nowhere, perhaps thats what you want and why you are so contrary.
there are actually plenty of black ppl who have black skin but not one person in the world with green, maybe youre referring to aliens from outer space, the ones who built the pyramids. the only ppl who use the word olive to describe a skin complexion are bleeding heart liberals describing WJE's.
so youre saying WJE's actually have little olives growing on their skin and thats what gives them their complexion?
Lots of people use lots of words that, upon analysis, are incorrect or have no meaning. Blue is a color. Aqua is a shade. Seems you're the one insisting on using an inaccurate term to describe the skin tone of a person you 've never seen and of which there are no contemporaneous paintings, drawings, or descriptions. Jesus lived in the Middle East 2000 years ago. Do you really not think that the people of that region have not changed over that time? Look at Egyptian art. Does the guy on the left look "olive?" Or is the guy on the right "olive?" Maybe the ladies in the middle are "olive?" I see the differences, they're just brown. I process colors fine. I just don't feel the need to argue over whether something is which color when they are in reality, brown. I said "dark skinned." Apparently the one with the processing issues in the one incapable of understanding what that means.
Typical Egyptians are not what I would discribe as olive . Olive is more of a meditation look and I wouldn't discribe olive as dark skinned. Are you seriously telling me you don't understand this? Like I said Google it.
Whatever you think about color, the absolute fact is that Jews 2000 years ago looked like Egyptians from the same period. Dark skinned. If you mean brown, say brown. It's a nice word. Nothing wrong with it. Olive? Looks like this and this If you can't understand that well, I can''t help you.
It's very basic mate, should have picked up what it meant when you were young. Can't help it if you can't understand the common term or are to pedantic that you have to make a big deal about it.
And what is not basic about "dark skinned?" It is an accurate, far more accurate than whatever you think passes for Olive, description of a Middle Eastern person from 2,000 years ago. Since, as you point out, Olive is a "Mediterranean" look and the Jews 2000 years ago were not of Roman or Greek descent there is no reason to think they would resemble those people EXCEPT That you're in the same club that worships "White Jesus." In which case your insistence here has nothing to do with the shade of the man's skin and everything to do with your White Euro-centric worldview.
Haha you're one of those. I'm sure Jesus loves you to. Son of God. That was a miracle. Could have been any colour really as it was god's son after all. What the brainwashed idiots don't see is colour doesn't matter.God never intended it to be about colour it's about the teachings. What I ask is to stop using Gods sons name to try gain some sort of racial leverage over others personal beliefs. This is my problem with both you and the op.
if colour doesnt matter to you then youll have no issue with him being a black man then. and round in circles we go woohoo
Like I said skin colour isn't important to me. The teachings are what's important. On the other hand you have a problem with a white Jesus and you've had to black face him to accept him. That's what this thread boils down to, that and also using his Jesus's name as a weapon in a race war. Bad and even worse !!!
Clearly I was replying in an attempt to educate someone that can't grasp a common saying in the English language. The got the term all wrong and were taking it literally and as a result were replying with nonsense in the thread .
so skin colour is not important AS LONG AS HE WASNT BLACK! what is your major problem with Yesus being black?
