Sure. Threatened people often become aggressive. I suppose you think white women have to cower before black men lest they be accused of racism. Do you think she should have lost her job?
Neither you nor I were there. How can you or I judge whether or not she should have felt threatened? She says she did. Why don't you believe her?
when you feel that someone is threatening your life and the life of your dog you do not approach the dangerous person in a threatening manner. Sounds like the black guy wasn't really that threatening if you watch the video you can see she had a great deal of distance between her and the dangerous person but then moved much closer to the dangerous person, when he started filming her. The lady was full of **** and she knows it. I'm glad she was fired
people who feel their lives are being threatened do not move much closer to the dangerous person. She lied to 911 and hopefully she will be charged.
Look up fight-or-flight response. You might learn something. They’re both drama queens who have probably done this before.
She was trying to freak him out and scare him away so he’d leave her alone. Just like he tried to freak her out and scare her so she’d put her dog on her leash.
If she was trying to get him to leave her alone why did she approach him in a threatening manner? Why didn't she walk away? In New York we are legally required to flee a threatening situation if we are able to do so.
I believe their is racism in all countries of the world. Against all races though, not just anti black. I just don't go looking for it every time an incident happens just because the parties involved are of different skin color. This lady was not rational. I firmly believe she would have reacted the same way if the guy was me and I did everything the same way.
and yet she felt the need to specifically threatened to call 911 and say that a black man was threatening her As if he doesn't know what his race is
I passed through Ferguson shortly after Michael Brown was killed. A young black man pulled up beside my wife and I and said I cut him off. Neither my wife nor I knew what he was talking about. I told him I was not aware that I did cut him off, but was sorry, if I did. He was not satisfied and indicated he wanted me to get out of my car. Just as soon as the light turned green, I drove off. He did not follow us and that was the end of it. Still, I occasionally feel a bit nervous around blacks. Sometimes, you can sense their resentment. Whether they are justified in their resentment or not, I have done nothing to deserve it.
In New York state we have a duty to retreat from dangerous situations. not only did this lady not retreat but she approached the "dangerous person" in a threatening manner, when he started to video her. She deserves to be charged
so now we know the cop who killed the unarmed black man with his knee, is a racist and Trump supporter. will we discover the same about Amy Cooper? seems likely.
Evidence of what? The guy is obviously a loser who needs to feed his desire for power (because he lacks it), and this manifested in the form of him videotaping the woman. It’s a plain old power trip.
So you think if it was you (assuming you're white) she would have said...a "white" man is threatening me?
he's a very successful individual and Harvard Grad. his video is the only evidence we have that the lady is a racist and a liar. thank God he had his phone that day.
