Right wingers love government. They just want government to do different things. Left-wingers want government to give people healthcare, education, and guarantee a decent wage and working conditions. On the other hand, Republicans want government to intervene to protect corporate profits, deport undocumented immigrants, crack down on protestors, and bomb brown people. When right wingers want to cut funding to ICE, the military, and police departments to limit the size of government, I will take them seriously about believing in "small government." Otherwise, their belief in "small government" is a transparent distortion of reality.

 

Please start a thread about his policies!! He has accomplished nothing and has no policies. So far, the only major piece of legislation he successfully passed, was a major tax cut for the rich. Yes, there is the book of laws and regulations, the vast majority of which do not touch most human beings, and many are not even enforced. Trump is repealing a few, but many are environmental laws that do good, such as the law Trump repealed that disallowed mining companies from polluting local streams and rivers.

And who is responsible currently for the deficits careening out of control to hitherto unseen heights? Republicans.
