Shutting off water and power would hurt the law abiding citizens in the area, and not the insurrectionists. The when the business do/can not open would trigger these criminals to start looting these business. Further, many of the businesses are multiple floor building. The upper floors are usually leased to tenants. So, cutting off water and power will effect them also. This is not a good solution.

The Insurrectionist passed 1807 gives the President, not Congress the right to deal with these home grown terrorist. Further, the gutless Congressional leadership are more likely to support these terrorists.

What is happening in Seattle proves that self-policing is an idiotic idea. It gives criminals and terrorists a free rein.

Under the Insurrectionist Act of 1807, the President does have the authority to deploy the US military to deal with these terrorists. Frankly, I would deploy the US Marines stationed from Camp Pendleton and 29 Palms. They would quell the unrest in short order. I also believe that the President declare martial law in Seattle until new leadership can be elected. The current leadership should be arrested and charged for aiding an abetting these terrorists.

Europe already has no patrol zones. These are in areas where there are a large Muslim population.

I think they should do it sooner than later. Otherwise as the subversives increase there from elsewhere and claim more turf, the more innocent citizens will be placed in harms way. They should wall them off now so they can't grow or escape.

Yeah but what's most important is that they have no Confederate statues. If they did, that would be intolerable.

Right. Because of what I said.
    Congress has no command authority.

Completely mute point. That has nothing to do with an insurrection in Seattle.

Think you’re on to something, show the public what it look like if the extremist left gets it’s way.

The problem is that the subversives are not the general population. They are few in numbers and don't care about garbage or crime, IMO. |But maybe that's what it will take to drive home the point to the remainder that yes, no Government, Law, and Police, is a very bad thing. BTW, citizens there are calling the Police to report problems and crimes like extortion being committed by the subversives.

I have learned to doubt any unsupported claim coming from you, such as your "Trump only won in a single county in Maine". Lets assume you may be correct, how is that germane to the topic?

ANTIFA Deserves a Military Response. “Much of the violence we have seen in the past couple of weeks has been coordinated by the antifa crowd. I’ve been very derisive of what’s been going on but I will say that I do believe that some of the protesters were sincere and didn’t want any violence.”

Antifa members ought to be treated like the secessionists they claim to be.

Where is ImNotOliver ? He has spent months telling this board that all Auntyfay violence was nothing more than a response to RW demonstrations in the streets. Has he abandoned that falsehood?

Kind of like when the Bundy gang occupied the Malheur Wildlife Refugee. Once those criminal but jobswjobs rooted out, there was a lot of garbage and damage left behind.

    Your red herring aside....

    Nope. Didn't happen.
You know this, of course, and yet you chose to claim otherwise.

Oh you mean like the political Left's invented boogymen . . . White nationalists? So very many things seem to be situational nowadays:

You misspelled "pipeline protesters". Are you still claiming Auntyfay violence is nothing more than a reaction to RW street demonstrations? Giggle giggle, snort snonk!

From now on, until I die, I am going to use the conservatives' insistence that "antifa" is involved with these protests, as just another example of one of those things conservatives are led to believe that doesn't square with reality.

That and the conservatives' collective call for an authoritarian response. Classic.

As a non believer and a liberal, all my my life I have been hearing conservatives bearing false witness about people like me. The current accusations against the antiFa are just more of the same. It is not like the conservative world is known for its cleverness or its relationship with reality.

One of the primary differences between the left and the right in the US, is the right has to make up things to make the left look bad. There is a whole industry, that spends hundreds of millions of dollars every year, just on that endeavor. The left has a much easier job, as consevartives make themselves look bad, all on their own. Conservatives can go on all day about how the evil Democrats have been trying to take down a duly elected president, yet in the end, what is killing Trump is his ineptitude in the face of national crises. As a leader he has completely failed in stopping the spread of virus, he has stood by helplessly as the economy tanked, has been opposed to justice for Black people, and he has been threatening military violence on peaceful protestors. That on top of consorting with Russian operatives, having been caught trying to solicit the Ukrainian president, his incessant lying and displays of ignorance, and his horrible, less than honorable character.

We didn't have to tell the world that Sarah Palin was a bimbo idiot. She demonstrated that all on her own. We don't have to point out how much of a bumbling boob of a leader Trump is, he has been demonstrating that all on his own.

The Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone Has Already Had Its First Incident Of Self-Appointed-Police Violence.
Maybe Trump shouldn’t move too fast to shut this down. It’s likely to be a useful learning experience.
