Could’ve happened if cop didn’t shoot. Cops don’t wait for their lives to end before they act, they act when they see a perceived threat, to neutralize the threat, otherwise, why have police officers? Stop justifying this type of violent criminal behaviour!

He didn't get away. The reality is that the only possible slim chance he had to get away was in his car, but he chose to abandon his car (thankfully he was really stupid) and try hoofing it, wherein a big, heavy man like that had no chance at all of getting away.

Now he can never hurt anybody DUI, and that is really good.

He should have pulled in his horns and gone to court, like smarter people do.

At this point, the officers had a car, with plates, and his drivers license. Why the need to shoot in the back? Go arrest him later.

 

He appears to have turned to face them momentarily to aim the tazer, which he stole from them, at the officers.

So what is ultimately being stated on the part of yourself, is that an individual who is intoxicated to the point of losing consciousness, should be allowed to operate a motor vehicle on a public right of way in such a state, potentially killing others as a result of their own impaired state, so that they may be arrested at a later point in time?
