Oxymoron. There is no such thing as a "socialist industry." As such, something that cannot exist has no "leaders."
    Yeah, sure he is. :roflol:

Trumper/Republicans had better hope SCOTUS keeps the ACA alive. Democrats are no doubt licking their chops at a chance to put forward SCOTUS-proof "Medicare for all" as the replacement.

Interesting that you're attempting to discredit Biden for misspeaking by writing he said "120milliom."

Obama care is a scam, but this is akin to the building of the wall. In Trumps first two years he had the house and the Senate. Why wasn't this done then? I don't think it will ever be repealed. Too much money for insurance companies and it is Obama's signature piece which the Left will never let be terminated.

Abolish all health insurance and have price controls on medical procedures and treatment. Not unfettered capitalism, but better than this racket. That is the real problem.

Yes because one size fits all bloated bureaucratic healthcare is the answer.

You're still trying to discredit polls that were off by 1.1% in the 2016 election? What do you think Trump's chances are if they're off 1.1% again?

Interesting article. An ex-insurance exec admits to lying to US about Canadian healthcare.
We told the Americans that the Canadian system was not the system that we should have anything to do with, that it was "socialized medicine." We used that term repeatedly to try to get people to be afraid of the Canadian system.

We exaggerated and misinformed people about waits. I'm very familiar with the waits that you have to, in many cases, have in Canada for elective procedures. But we wanted people to have the impression that if you have an emergency or if you have any need for medical care, that you were put on a long waiting list.

And it's to try to make people think that Canadians don't like their health-care system and that doctors don't like it and that people are coming across the border in droves to get care in the U.S. So we tried to create that perception and to make people think that's really the way the Canadian system is.

Let's jerk a few of the snouts out of the healthcare trough instead of making the trough larger to make room for more snouts.

One gets the best answers when they actually talk with a Canadian citizen on the subject. Truth is not something I expect from anyone imbedded in the health care industry.

Bush had a chance to fix health care, didn't, and the people voted for Obama. Trump had a chance to fix healthcare, didn't, and...

It is so high because we are being screwed by insurance companies and doctors. For instance, I have paid 10,000 dollars on car insurance in the last 10 years. Haven't received a dime out of it. 100,000 in health insurance and haven't seen much outside of basic check ups. We need serious health and auto insurance reform. It preys on people's fears of catastrophe, but if you look at the numbers we are all getting screwed.

Indeed - while Americans who fear 'socialized medicine' can tell you stories of a friend of a friend or a second cousin's cousin who died waiting for treatment in Canada, no Canadian knows someone who experienced that...

And there are no bones in ice cream. We all know this. The point is government healthcare will not work.
