Yes, they repeat death numbers without mentioning they' declining. And no, it is not very highly likely "death rates will start to climb again 2-3 weeks", for MSM won't tell you the majority of new infections are with younger peeps who handle infections better than us older folks. But if you watch MSM, you'll never know it.

Of course it's due to covid. Do you think there was a sudden surge of acute sunburn?

You forgot to mention that Texas and Florida are the prime focus of all this attention because they're swing states.

Vote Democrat 2020 (Or your grammy will die from ChiFlu because Trump)

You need to meet more people then.

I tested positive for the b strain last year during my physical. I still passed with flying colors because I'm generally very healthy anyway but I had been feeling poorly for 2 days prior so I asked for the test. Took a ZPac.

Never did the vaccine, but I've missed maybe 10 days of work due to illness over 3 decades, and half of those were hangovers.

I don't know that the flu tests are very common.

Took 10 minutes, cotton swabs, leaves the room and comes back with a mask on.

    Incredibly common
    Caught it from my coworker.

It may not take that long but I've still never met anybody that had one.

They count everyone who dies with covid-19 as a covid-19 death because there is a reasonable degree of certainty that covid-19 played a causal factor in their death.

Extremely common. Ask your doctor about flu testing. Or just read about it on the internet.

That's the elephant in the room nobody wants to address honestly, which is why I've mostly washed my hands of these discussions freaking out about COVID spread. Anyone howling about COVID spread, but who supported the rioters, is the very definition of a hypocrite.

You do not watch the msm.

Yes, they report the lower death numbers. Yes, they report that the reason the death numbers have fallen. One of those reasons is because death numbers lag behind infections and 2-3 weeks ago, the infection counts were lower. The death count numbers are already climbing back up again because the infection counts started climbing 2-3 weeks ago.

And the younger people getting sick today mean that the older people will get sick tomorrow. Good luck.

On the contrary, it's quite unusual. Tests would only normally be performed in extenuating circumstances. 99.99% of flu cases are diagnosed via symptoms only.

If your symptoms are clearly viral, the test is superfluous (and wasteful).

Of course doctors know about the tests, but they just don't want or need to use them in the vast majority of cases.

My theory is that those states are so hot that most of the people are staying inside. Wisconsin infection rates are down. If I am right, hot southern states will have loads of infections thoughout the summer and in the late fall they will begin spiking in Wisconsin and other northern states.

The problem with that theory is that if your home is COVID free, it's perfectly safe to be indoors. People in hot climates can go out walking/jogging etc after early in the morning or after sunset, also.
