It is artificially expensive i.e. inaccessible.
If the person has substantial fears of bankruptcy while encountering health cares system in U.S. it cannot be called accessible.
Why you people pretending that you do not know those facts?

You do not pay for yourself, government and your employer pays for it.
I do not understand people who admire slavery.

Yep, and your employer gets a tax break for paying for your health care.

if you get wages from the government either directly or indirectly it is a government welfare.
The whole discussion about health care come down to one thing - I have got insurance from the government, but I want other people to get bankrupt or die, because they more inferior then I am.
    The mentality of slave.

Are you aware that you are paying only about 50%?
That other 50% is paid by your employer.
And employer is compensated by the government.

Is it really hard to understand such a simple concept?

Why try to improve a rushed, one sided, short lived, costly, unproven health care remake, when It makes so much more sense to disparage and tear down monuments to the authors of our liberty, and to dismantle the enforcement of our laws and standards of civil conduct, which are and have been the bi partisan bedrock of our tranquility and progress for two hundred and fifty years.

    ok, lets say
    your salary - $1000
you pay for insurance $100 but real cost of insurance is $200.
your employer makes $100 profit per employee.
your employer gets $100 from the government to compensate you with $100.

You are saying that your employer can pay you $1100 and get nothing from the government, so the employer's profit will be exactly $0.
$0 is a good number it is definitely better then negative profit.

my employer doesn’t get compensation from the govt. we have clients that pay for our services.

my employer pays me say 1k/month, and up to 4k/year in insurance. So 333 a month. he could also pay me 1333/month and no insurance. that money comes from the work i do

I see, your employer is an altruist who is willing to lose money by paying more taxes then necessary.
It is very unique situation I think.

No, government prints money to cover the cost of healthcare, because they (and majority of people in the USA) want health care providers to be rich.
That is why government has budget deficit.
It is very naive to think that taxes can cover government spending.

Your post makes no sense, the person IS accessing the healthcare system. And medical bankruptcies cause solely by medical expenses is rare anyway.

i agree that taxes don’t cover govt spending hence the debt. medicare and medicaid are the largest drivers of our debt and need major reform

The only thing he voted for that involves Obama's legacy is the ACA. I think Roberts is reluctant to see SCOTUS become as political as it seems to have become. He's also a fan of letting legislators legislate.
I think he dislikes Trump's attacks on the court system. Does that mean he hates Trump? Hate is a word that probably doesn't apply to Roberts.
