    The only pandering is to their customers and employees. It's a business decision.

    What we're witnessing is abrupt cultural change, and corporations are just getting onboard an unstoppable trend. This is similar to what corporations did during the gay marriage debate.

    It's pretty easy to understand when you accept the reality that we live in an ever more diverse and interconnected world. You may not agree with the direction we're headed in, but it's not going into reverse. Seeing that gay marriage hasn't harmed anyone, I believe these corporations understand diversity and equal rights are good for business. The free market at its finest.

    If they had done it before this protest/riot flare up then I would agree. But they only did it after, in a mass group think pandering reaction. It's business, no doubt but it's still reactionary pandering.
