Federal "police" would be warranted if there was an attack on a federal building and IF the local authorities did not respond. Also were there federal security authorities on scene thereby preventing local authorities to respond.

is wrong. Yet is there an actual siege and is the siege not contained ( is it expanding) by the local authorities. ? The questions of is there a siege must be answered. Is the siege not contained? Have the local authorities asked for help? If so then the Federal government needs to send send help but needs to coordinate such help with the locals.

Such help must only be sent if needed and must not have any partisan political reasons for being sent. The POTUS at the time that such help is sent must not say that he is sending federal force to any location because that location happened to be administered by duly elected officials of a political party that is not the same as he political party that he has taken over. Do you understand what I am saying? No federal forces to be sent based on a POTUS"s partisan political whim.

If a Democratic POTUS is in place he must never use federal forces against a local Republican administration Likewise if the POTUS is a real Republican or an alleged Republican he must not use federal forces against a local government for partisan political purposes.

51 days of rioting. Check out all the damage to the federal building thus far. They were tearing down barriers to do further damage. They're taking a sledgehammer to the door to gain access. Federal officers have a right if not a duty to protect federal property from these thugs. Never in my life have I would have dreamed lefties arguing not to protect the federal facilities. That court house makes alot of decisions for the nation, not just stupid portland. If he pulled these federal officers back you would say he wasn't doing his job. At this point, burn your lefty cities, burn and take over your lefty city police departments and mayors offices and it's all good.
