    Franklin would more likely have been at the forefront of taking the federal government to court over these actions...

    Good, I'm glad we agree on that much. Now what if our rioter flees the park and runs a few blocks down the street? Is it still OK for the feds to pursue him and arrest him, even though the arrest may ultimately occur several blocks from the damaged federal property?

    I'm pretty confident that you don't have a clue what the arrested rioters had done previously to merit this special attention from federal LEOs and thus "without cause" is nothing but wild speculation on your part.

    Firstly they aren't "rogue"-they are directed to do this.

    Secondly they are wearing their only uniform, which is camo because they deploy to remote wilderness locations to catch illegals.

    Chicago has always been bad, but this violence has exploded just recently.

    Any law enforcement sent will be going into a place more dangerous than afghanistan.

    Well they're not really protests the riots and there's a pandemic. It's probably these riots that have caused a surge.

    Why don't you post exactly what you think they are being "directed to do"?... All I've read is "protect federal property", which means shoving people in vans who are not currently on federal property is a rogue action...

    So, by inference, this is the best time for illegals to make their move??

    Better hope that news doesn't get out....

    Already posted on page 5 of this thread, when I told you I wasn't going to spoon feed you.

    Federal law enforcement has the right to detain and investigate suspected crimes.

    Also, putting them in a van, away from the mob is an entirely acceptable means to do this.

    You not knowing or agreeing with this isn't my problem.

    Trump just announced he is sending thousands of federal law enforcement into Chicago.

    He says people must hold their local govt's accountable for allowing their communities to be besieged.

    Peaceful protesting is not a crime, not only that its a right. Violent protesting and rioting is a crime.

    To focus on peaceful protesters while ignoring the violent mob that surrounds them is a losing strategy-yet that is exactly what the local govt has done.

    We'll see in November... Americans don't like to see masked men in fatigues with dubious legal backing pushing other Americans in vans...

    If that's a winning strategy, I'm waiting for the Trump campaign ad showing it as such... Point it out for me, because he doesn't advertise on stations I generally watch..
