    I'm curious what THAT was.

Are you proposing an argumnet of some kind?

Is this just more boiler plate ad hom against a member of the House?

    Or what?

Politics is chock full of unapologetic rude people in case you haven't noticed. Political commentary is worse.

So, basically I stopped giving rats F about politicians that are not on my ballot some time ago.

Perhaps the word 'bitch' was a good indication.

LOL! A reporter? That does not help the credibility it hurts credibility. AOC probably had someone read her the story before she whined about it.

Except thats what you're doing by creating this thread in a debate forum. You're here, she's not (afawk...)

    (to both/either of you)

Suppose Yoho had said it to Nadler or Schiff, but used 'bastard' instead. Would that indicate, iyo, that Yoho's animosity toward them involved their gender?

    Don't care.

This is a nonissue for me when there are people out there doing far far worse.

Lol...what does bastard have to do with gender?
Tell your boy yoho to try calling them a gigolo, pencil dick or limp wrist and see their reaction.

To be honest, the term for female dog even gets applied to men by men these days. It certainly isn't flattering or nice as a term, but is pretty banal.

    bitch
    [ bich ]
    noun
a female dog:The bitch won first place in the sporting dogs category.
    a female of canines generally.
    Slang.
    1. a malicious, unpleasant, selfish person, especially a woman.
    2. a lewd woman.
    3. Disparaging and Offensive. any woman.

    bastard
    [ bas-terd ]
    noun
a person born of unmarried parents; an illegitimate child.
    Slang.
    1. a vicious, despicable, or thoroughly disliked person: Some bastard slashed the tires on my car.
    2. a person, especially a man: The poor bastard broke his leg.

So... lets try this again: Suppose Yoho had said it to Nadler or Schiff, but used 'bastard' instead. Would that indicate, iyo, that Yoho's animosity toward them involved their gender?

LMAO...so there are no female bastards, eh?
    G’wan, tell us another one.
Maybe this time, try dealing with the topic instead of making excuses for a deplorable maggot like yoho.
Or perhaps you want to distract some more about my use of maggot when referring to yoho?
You ain’t fooling anyone with this lame sophistry.

Just what is your purpose in trying to whitewash yoho's comments?

He reported his account without talking to AOC or anyone on the subject. And, AOC also reported it independently.

Now, YOU are suggesting they BOTH made a false claim that happens to be correct down to the minor details.

    Sorry. That's just plain STUPID.

AOC was going to let it go until Yoho made his lie and fake appology before the House.

    What's your point?

If people want to comment on what AOC said they should listen to what AOC said.

I made it very easy to do.
First, let's remember that Yoho lied on the floor of the House. Your scenario skipped that.

Second, he used gender as support for his lie, suggesting that having a daughter would preclude him from using that language with AOC.

You, too, need to listen to what AOC said.

    ??

We haver very serious issues that require federal support.

And, THIS is one of the issues that makes that level work far less effectively.

What team have YOU ever been part of where cursing at each other didn't impact cooperation?

Would Rep Yoho been better off by just doubling down and basically say to just get over it Sandy?

The R's and D's are ONLY a team when they are both trying to screw the public.

OK - if you say so.

I've always thought there were some decent Republicans - even some who support Christian attitudes and behavior.

Let's remember that he did NOT appologize.

And, he lied about what he said.

    He DID double down.

The question you should consider would be whether Yoho might have gained by appologizing for his act.

Have you EVER worked as part of a team where cooperative effort was required?

If so, do you think Yoho's behavior would have helped?

I do not even slightly agree.

The Representative from my district and my senators absolutely have NO interest in that AT ALL.

If yours do, you should find better representatives.

Hell, if he said it and meant it just come out and say he said it and meant it. Cooperating with AOC, give me a break.

There is nothing about "f'ing b*tch" AOC which says "team player", and calling her out for being an "f'ing b*tch", while a poor choice of words, doesn't change that fact.

What a bunch of pissing and moaning and trying to make a virtual nothingburger into a ten course meal

Since when is an accurate description deemed a poor choice of words?
