    President Donald Trump explicitly floated delaying November's presidential election on Thursday, lending extraordinary voice to persistent concerns that he would seek to circumvent voting in a contest where he currently trails his opponent by double digits.

    Trump has no authority to delay an election, and the Constitution gives Congress the power to set the date for voting.

    But in his tweet on Thursday morning -- coming 96 days before the election and minutes after the federal government reported the worst economic contraction in recorded history -- Trump offered the suggestion because he claimed without evidence the contest will be flawed.

    Seeing that his re-election seems highly unlikely, Trump tries to derail the democratic process.

    Trump proves once again how he has no respect for the Constitution and that he will do anything to stay in power.

    This is how dictators operate.

    Apparently he doesn't remember his remarks back in April...
    "I never even thought of changing the date of the election," the Republican replied. "Why would I do that? November 3rd. It’s a good number. No, I look forward to that election." The president added that the very idea of him seeking an election delay was "just made-up propaganda."

    So, I guess we should all just forget anything that was said previous to the current stance. It was quite a bit easier to lie and deny things before the 24/7 internet grasped every nanosecond of real life.

    He is starting to remind me of my father. He, annoyingly, says "That's in the past" even when referring to things that just happened. Technically, EVERYTHING is in the past including the sentence I just typed.

    I am just going to point out the ****ing idiocy of this man.

    In this tweet, he rails against Mail-In balloting, but says that Absentee Ballots are good.

    THERE IS NO ****ING DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAIL-IN BALLOTS AND ABSENTEE BALLOTS.

    That 3% of the voter base isn't getting the opportunity to vote.

    Given how close the 2016 election was, you'd think you'd want to ensure everyone has the opportunity.
