Sure, do you have an opinion on him making the suggestion?

They had a week long early voting with additional in person voting.
    "
In Kentucky, Adams said that as of the morning before Election Day, 973,807 voters had either requested an absentee ballot or voted during the week-long in-person early voting period, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal. That’s about 30% of voters in the state, a big increase in the typical level of mail-ballot requests of 1.5%. (Previous elections had been run under more restrictive rules for absentee ballots.)

By the eve of Election Day, county clerks had received more than 503,400 of those absentee ballots back, the Courier-Journal reported. Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, so they will continue to flow into election offices for several days afterward.

In Jefferson County specifically, the county clerk’s office reported mailing 218,404 absentee ballots to registered voters, and officials said they had received more than 96,000 of those back as of the day before the primary. In addition, 7,493 people in the county voted early at the Kentucky Exposition Center, and an unknown number had cast in-person ballots at a second early-voting location, the Courier-Journal reported."

No I'd rather to to my polling place and have my ballot handed to me and I mark it and then run it through the machine to have it tabulated and I see that done.

Joe Biden deserves an apology from right wing commentators who took issue with Biden saying, "Mark my words, I think he is gonna try to kick back the election somehow, come up with some rationale why it can't be held."

I don't consider a Tweet to mean much of anything. A Tweet is not an official communication of any kind. As mentioned before, I consider Tweets to be communications to/for/buy the unwashed and the fact that Trump Tweets is not consistent with the dignity of the Presidential office. But a delay in the election is not going to happen. There will be an election and Trump will be reelected.

It was in response to Bidens assertion that Trump may want to push back the election. Even more reason for him not to flirt with this idea now.

Again. Beyond the obvious possibility he is simply saying such for the express purpose of annoying his critics, all to see if he can get a response out of them?

Donald Trump says many things, often for the sake of attention. He is an individual who has many critics, sometimes for legitimate reasons. If he is going to be criticized no matter what he does or says, why should he not go out of his way to annoy those who go out of their way to criticize every aspect of his being?

Gee, I dunno. Maybe because he's the President of the United States? Saying annoying things, preposterous things, just to annoy his critics is mighty childish and unprofessional - wouldn't you say?

I believe that he floats ideas out there to see if they can gain traction - what kind of support he can get. Again, wholly inappropriate for a POTUS.

As opposed to the childishness, and lack of professionalism, of those who deliberately misquote his statements to make it appear he said something he did not actually say? Is the media given a free pass on their childishness and lack of professionalism for their distorted, dishonest coverage of facts, simply because of who they have turned their fury against?

so he asked a question in a tweet with three question marks after it.

Clearly, as a means of opposing the mail-in voter crowd.

The left loses their damn mind.

    So just to be clear:

    1. It's too dangerous to vote
    2. It's not too dangerous to protest
    3. We need to vote by mail because its too dangerous
    4. Delaying the election is not an option.

It would appear that all the coronavirus positions the left holds is based on politics. As is typical with the left, any means to their desired ends.

This wouldn't be the first time for Trump to be able to get the Dems, "on record," to confirm their position.

There are several states that don't have the time necessary to be able to switch to mail in voting if the November date stays the same.

I am almost glad that Trump said this. It only took him 4(!) years to reveal his coup d'etat.
Like we didn't knew this was coming.

But now we are beyond his BS of him hiding his real motives; to overthrow American Democracy.

But Donald J. Trump, the former real estate bozo, should be careful.

Until know he played the dumb President with dictatorial traits. A goof who can't walk down a ramp.
We all had a good laugh about it, at times.

But if Trump wants to play the adult version of this game he should be prepared to hang by his heels if he persists on wrecking American democracy.

If Trump aspires to be Muammar Gaddafi or Saddam Hussein, he will find his end like them.

    No mercy for dictators.

Okay - so now the actions of POTUS are now held to the same standard as media? That explains a lot!

Because we should not hold elected officials to the same standard as an internet troll. Value is not derived from hatred garnered.

And you are still not really offering an opinion on the fact that he made the suggestion. You are merely "asking the question" of why he shouldn't.

if Trump suggests he may not respect election results and stay in the WH even after Congress certifies his loss, he should be arrested for treason
