Why don't you just mind your own business, and leave others to manage their own lives? We're not your children, and you're not our mother.

 

So I should just shut the **** up and let you carelessly kill my wife?

 

Are you okay if your restaurant staff don't wash their hands if they don't feel sick? It's okay if they grab your food with their bare hands? Do you care that they wash their dishes in hot water? Do you want your chicken cooked fully? Almost everyone survives food poisoning, so I guess restaurants should just stop with the precautions. Right?

Well, since I'm not going to let you run my life, and since there's no chance of me harming someone I don't even know, then yes, you should just shut the **** up and mind your own business.

 

And when you get infected and refuse to wear a mask ...and infect who knows how many other people...

 

How is it you think you know this?

 

I read it, just because you don’t wear a mask doesn’t mean you’re going to get Covid. Food poisoning, on the other hand, hits instantly. You will know if the food was bad, undercooked or tampered with. I’ve had it with fish. A mask is not a safety device. A oxygen mask in a plane? Yes, but these are not.

Upholding my civil liberties is not merely being uninformed. You should have told Washington not to fight the British if you wanted to be ruled by a king or queen. Weird how we could use to act more like the Swedes right now.

 

If you go for months without a symptom, most likely you don’t need a test to tell you that you don’t have Covid. Not everyone is going to put life on hold and act like a hypochondriac just to please you

If you’re that afraid, just stay home with your wife. Don’t pull us down with you.

 

Using “public health” as a crutch for authoritative power. It makes your intentions sound Innocent, when in fact they are malicious. The harm isn’t direct, it’s indirect. The people trying to force one to wear a mask most likely are obsessing over it.

A mask has not reopened a country.

 

The cook promises he's not sick, though. He double-pinky swears.

It's truly sad that so many of my fellow humans have such disdain for people, to the point where they don't care if their personal actions cause harm.

Very, very sad.

 

How could I harm a person if I don't know who they are, or where they reside? Or even if did stumble upon them accidentally, how could I harm them if I don't have a covid infection to pass on to them?

Why do you assume the healthy to be a danger and the bullies to be protective? We have far more to fear from the bullies than we do the healthy. The bullies act only in their own interests, not in the interests of those they are bullying.

It's our individual freedoms that protect us, not the bullies trying to take away those freedoms.

Are you wearing a mask and social distancing at home? If not, you are the most likely person to kill your wife with SARS-CoV-2 infection.

 

People who cause accidents and kill other people don't necessarily know those people, yet they harmed them.

This is hard to figure out? Really?

Even if you test negative for COVID today, it doesn't mean you won't get it in two days. A simple conversation with a fellow human can infect someone, just from the teeny droplets filled with COVID flying up to 30 feet, can infect that person.

I'm absolutely stunned how little people understand this after all these months.

It’s actually based on things we’ve known for months. What is scary is the fact everyone was told to wear masks in circumstances where infection is much less likely and told not to wear masks where they would do the most to stop spread.

We were told to do it to protect strangers but not those we love the most. What is terrifying is nobody can use facts and logic to come to this conclusion without an “expert” mandating behavior.

We were told it’s no big deal to wear a mask for 12 hours because healthcare professionals do it. But we are told doing so at home to protect our families is not necessary and counterproductive. No matter what one’s risk tolerance is in respect to Covid 19, the complete lack of science and logic used by the most risk averse and the “experts” should scare the living daylights out of everyone.

Freedom to Not Wear a Mask

We trust you to make your own choices if you want to wear a face mask. And, in the same spirit of individual liberty, we allow our staff to make their own choices about the safety procedures they prefer to follow as they prepare and serve your food.

We encourage employees to wash their hands after using the bathroom, but understand that some people may be allergic to certain soaps or simply prefer not to wash their hands. It is not our place to tell them what to do.

We understand that you may be used to chicken that has been cooked to 165 degrees. We do have to respect that some of our cooks may have seen a meme or a YouTube video saying that 100 degrees is fine and we do not want to encroach on their beliefs.

Some servers may wish to touch your food as they serve it. There is not reason that a healthy person with clean hands can’t touch your food. We will take their word for it that they are healthy and clean.

Water temperature and detergent are highly personal choices, and we allow our dishwashing team to decide how they’d prefer to wash the silverware that you will put in your mouth.

Some of you may get sick, but almost everyone survives food poisoning. We think you’ll agree that it’s a small price to pay for the sweet freedom of no one ever being told what to do – and especially not for the silly reason of keeping strangers healthy.

That makes NO sense at all

Going your entire life without catching Covid won't prevent you from catching it now. WTF are you talking about? And when you DO catch it?

You likely won't know it for days while you run around infecting others.

Oh and wearing a mask in no way puts your life on hold...

 

Dude...you wanna wear a mask at home you go for it.

 

You not wearing a mask at home puts your family in danger as well as the general public. Stop being selfish and put on the freaking mask at home—where it does the most to protect others. Anything less is blatant denial of science and outright disregard for the lives and health of others.

 

Absolutely hilarious how SOME think that not wearing a mask is a sign that "nobody can tell me what to do, I'm an American"

So these people throw their garbage into the street?

Drive 80 in a 30 zone?

Don't pay taxes?

Walk around in public naked?

Don't register their vehicles ?

Don't insure their vehicles?

Drive on the wrong side of the freeway?

Don't school their children?

Don't pay property taxes?

Don't leash their dogs?

Don't report crimes?

Don't have their septic tanks pumped on a regular schedule?

Let their yards turn into junkyards?

Give rock concerts in their residential neighborhoods at 2 AM every night of the week?

Insist ALL life is PRECIOUS?

LOL....but not wearing a mask....THAT shows their "independence" ???? ASSININE!

 

Being completely honest, I don't wear a mask at home. Because it is just the two of us and we are both obsessive about wearing one whenever we leave the house. My frustration is with the folks who get together with family members who live apart from them - or close friends for that matter - and think that all is well because 'they know them'.

I look at it the same way we did when AIDS was rearing its ugly head. Consider that you are sleeping with every one of your partners' partners - take precautions!

 

You don't have to know a person or where they reside to cause them harm. What do you mean by that statement?

 

Were my wife to catch this thing , our lives are so entangled at home that a mask is not going to prevent me from catching it.
