Sorry but that isn’t good enough. Congress failing to do something that you think they should do does not give the president the powers that the constitution has given to Congress.

The constitution is not there for the times when things are going smoothly. It’s there for the times when things aren’t going smoothly. The constitution must still be respected, even if it is inconvenient.

yeah that's all it it would have taken.

Just stop. You have no real argument. Congress ( note I don't blame a particular party) has failed. Trump right or wrong acted where congress didn't

If you claim those are Democratic positions, please provide a link that shows this.

You are glossing over the real issue - “right or wrong”.

Simple question: do you think these EOs are unconstitutional?

Are EOs unconstitutional? It depends on what the EO is based on.

Mark Levin breaks down, point by point why the DOJ will easily be able to defend this...

    1. President Trump had no choice but to issue the Executive Orders this afternoon, and given that Obama instituted DACA without legislation and John Roberts seemed okay with that, the president's DOJ will have strong grounds on which to defend them.

    2. But why would the Democrats and their media propagandists oppose the Executive Orders since they supported Obama's executive action on behalf of illegal aliens, and President Trump's orders actually assist tens of millions of American citizens.

    3. The president, and the American people, are sick and tired of Pelosi, Schumer, and the media playing games with their lives and their families, and they are sick and tired of legislative blackmail by a wildly radical House speaker from San Francisco.

    4. We live in different times, where we are fighting for our survival as a free and prosperous people against a loathsome enemy from within. Kudos to the President, the only person in Washington who actually wants to get things done on behalf of the people.

    <EDIT (Rule 2)>

Fact is I never said it was noble. Fact is I just said I did not think it was constitutional. Fact is congress failed to do it's job. Fact is Trump acted. fact is it may not be constitutional. fact is the democrats will look bad if they challenge it. that is all have said from the beginning but you kids have spent hours trying to make it seem like I said things I never did. Until you can debate me honestly don't respond to my posts. Your are just not worth it.

    See post 32 for elucidation.

Perhaps you don't have a constitution or supreme court but levin is an expert on the USA's.

Leave "right" out of your statement and you'd be spot on.

Some commentary on the unwise course top Dems are facing-they are boldly lying and it will backfire.

So hopefully you would agree that there should be bipartisan opposition to Trump’s EOs.

There is, but as usual, it's very mouse like and quiet from the right...

If the D's (and other groups) sue, it's similar to Judge Sullivan attempting to keep the power vested to him in the Flynn case.

Americans will completely understand this and I suspect polling will support that...

The President has no means of providing funds. He can only shift funding around.

So where is this money coming from?

It's only been a couple of days, but here's the best line about the Unconstitutional Slop (after Unconstitutional Slop, of course)

    SNIP
Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman is so unimpressed with President Donald Trump’s latest efforts to boost the economy amid the coronavirus crisis that he has declared it to be the hydroxychloroquine of economic policy.
    ENDSNIP

A double zinger.... that takes some effort...

Go ahead and prove that those things were Dem policies. The other poster said the Dems wanted these things
    - a nationwide ban on voter ID nationwide and
    - a ban on signature verified mail in balloting.

Prove that those were Dem policies.
