Melania's speech was powerful. I expect not many committed Democrats will watch, as they've been instructed not to by media and the DNC leaders, but the RNC just became America's Unifying Party for the people.

 

Dare I go check out if "Melania" is trending on Twitter? I bet she is. And I bet she's being bullied by the Cancel Culture more than being applauded for a most excellent speech.

I don't have an account. Never signed up. But a lot of politicians', intellectuals, and thought leaders' accounts are public, so I like to see what they're saying. Of course, there's a lot of trash talk from the nobody wannabes too, like the people who are jealous and petty about our first lady.

 

Oh so you can read twitter without signing up? It has been my experience that you can only read so much before they ask you to sign up.

 

Facebook does that more, so I hardly ever try to read anything there. You can read pretty much all Tweets on public accounts without signing up.

Needless to point out that an entity that does NOT exist is INCAPABLE of "giving" anything at all, let alone Constitutional Rights.

But for the sake of argument WHY did your imaginary god NOT provide these "god give rights" to his Chosen People when they were being oppressed by the Egyptians and the Romans?

 

No man, and no document gives me those rights. They always were mine and always will be. Thats what inalienable means. If you'd prefer to think of them as God given or natural rights-its of no difference to me.
