Hello. I am a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict (as it is formally known) and I do know a bit about why people enlist. If it is a bogus war then Democrats like Lyndon Johnson will draft you. He sure tried with me and millions more American men, but rather than take two years active duty in the Army, instead I volunteered for four years active in the Navy...and ultimately did two tours off Vietnam. Yawn. Big deal. Never saw a shot fired. But yeah, I served.

You imply service people are suckers. The millions of men and women who have received training they applied DIRECTLY to civilian jobs will instantly disprove that. "Free" training, yes, requiring an exchange of services for value received which ensures an income for a lifetime if properly applied. Training in that all-too-valuable commodity of self-discipline. These suckers show up for the job interviews. These chumps can walk up to say a test bench and prove on that spot that they know how to do thus-and-so. Uncle Sugar trained these layabouts. They paid back to their country what blessings their country has paid to them.

Me? I was such a sucker that to see places I would never ever get to otherwise see, I extended that four to the full obligation of six years active. Anonymous sources are anonymous sources. No one other than the original reporters can question them. There is no way to check anything.. On the other hand their are more than four sources who say it did not happen and they can be questioned.

Says who? You? You don't know what the relationships are, what the agreements are, nor whether a source talked to more than one person. You don't know who all was there nor what was said. You know nothing about the situation at all.

Do you take this same attitude in solving crime? Crimes are solved in the exact same manner. A rookie cop who acts on a tip from his first snitch will not go back to that snitch if his story doesn't pan out. Veteran detectives have built a network of reliable sources from which they gain valuable information.

And yet, I see no names nor quotes from these "sources." I see no questions being asked of them. I would think Trump, as the POTUS, would assemble these "sources" and settle the issue once and for all. But he hasn't. I wonder why that is...
