So why hasn't Trump gathered these people for a news conference? Seriously. Why is Trump attacking Steve Jobs' widow rather than bringing light to the issue for all to see?

I keep hearing about these "sources" who come forward and can be questioned. Why isn't anyone questioning them? I think you know the answer to that. Deep down anyway.

And here's the clincher. If the story were false, John Kelly would have said it was false.

 

They questioned John Bolton on Fox. They questioned the other gentleman on HLN.

Fact: The Atlantic = MSM = Fake News.
Anonymous source smears late in an election cycle are now easily dismissed as obvious Fake News.

The Atlantic, used to be a rather unique regional magazine. No longer.
It is just another Washington rag that serves as a house organ for our corrupt bipartisan ruling political class including the Billionaires that fund the whole criminal enterprise.

 

This reminds me of Adam Schiff's lame attempt at smearing Trump for a call with Ukraine. They called all sorts of witnesses that weren't even a party to the call just so they could trash Trump, lol.

Think long and hard about this.

There was an event nearly two years ago and no one said a word about what he said.

Four anonymous sources suddenly decide to reveal what Trump said. Four anonymous sources who no one can question any further.

Now sources who are willing to talk about it have come forward and they say it did not happen or they doubt that it happen.

And you choose to believe four anonymous sources. I find that incomprehensive.

Now on tops of that, Trump has done more for the military than any recent president. When Trump took office, around half the military was declared non combat ready. That is no longer true..

 

Has nothing to do with being bad about Trump. Has to do with reason. It's getting tiring having to repeat the obvious over and over. If anonymous sources were defacto false, we would not have programs like Secret Witness. This is really basic stuff. Because someone wants to protect his privacy does not mean he is a liar. Nonsense. You can't even admit that, so yes, your mind is made up.

Politics is bloodsport. I'm not going to feel sorry for Trump. Say stupid things, lose elections. It's always worked that way.

Just because they could have a reason to remain anonymous does not mean they are telling the truth. For whatever, the reason, it shuts the door for further questions. The big clinchers on top of the anonymity is waiting for nearly two years and then more people coming forward saying it is not true.

Until John Bolton stepped forward, I was a bit up in the air. He hates Trump and would have no reason to lie about it. He said if he thought was true, it would have been in his book.

 

I never said anonymity means it's truthful. What I said is there are ways to determine whether sources are accurate. It's all here, in the thread, many times.

The reasoning is obvious; retribution.

The waiting is obvious, as well; politics. The Atlantic does swing left, but it publishes facts. Both parties are familiar with October surprises. Surely you see that. Perhaps after watching Trump flail for days, somebody decides to go public in October. We'll see.

It's not a numbers game. You can get a million third hand opinions and claims. The first hand accounts are all that matters. I'll wait to see if and when Kelly issues a statement.

 

What you have demonstrated so far is that you have no proof that is true except you want it to be true. People who were there willing to speak have said it is not true.

What you are believing is that some of those who were there all got together and decided we will just keep quiet about what Trump said until it will really make a big difference two years from now in the 2020 election. The more I think about it the more preposterous it gets.

 

There's no proof either way. What we have is plausibility, which I've already addressed. Whether something is plausible has nothing to do with what I want, and I've given all the arguments many times. You can believe it's a huge conspiracy if you wish. I'll stick with the likelihood that it's true.

 

Its plausible that the moon landing was faked or that Bush did 9-11 or that Lyndon Johnson had JFK killed. You don't believe those things though because they are ridiculous. Just like this.

 

That is the problem. It is not a huge conspiracy. It was only four people.

The huge conspiracy would have been if it is true and all the people who were there and all the people they would have likely told, kept it quiet for two years. Now that is a really huge conspiracy.

 

Smh. Four original sources that we know of, administration officials, journalists, contacts, news organizations. It's a lot more than four people.

 

I didn't like it when Trump was critical of McCain's time as a POW, but as I said, I can still call McCain a loser, or other unflattering things, but he cannot hide behind his military service.

 

Four people that have reported it. All the others with first hand knowledge have said it is not true.

Let's assume it was said. Do they have any proof he said it? Otherwise, it will always be an ALLEGATION. In fact it is AN UNSUBSTANTIATED ALLEGATION.

It wasn't really ever about me. But I dang sure enjoyed the ride while that go-cart was moving.

Military service is the single most positive experience any younger person can have, given the right frame of mind going in. It's free travel, training, housing, clothing, and cultural experiences unavailable any other way. Armed Forces Career Centers are the gateway to the rest of the world.
