Both have shown weird slips. Hell, Trump couldn't even find Rudy in a room when the guy was sitting directly across from him. He frequently forgets how to pronounce simple words. This is a fake argument. Both have shown weird slips. It is to be expected at their age. For both of them. I. DON'T. CARE. About either. It isn't a voting issue for me either way. They both slip up about as much as my parents do. Who cares? "Foregone conclusion" is just a lazy way of saying "Not based on evidence and I will refuse to consider evidence at all costs." As shown here. I'm ignoring your attempt to change the subject just because you can't address the actual topic. As for the quote, Biden "botched" nothing. He quoted parts of the pledge. He wasn't trying to recite the pledge. His quotes make complete sense to anyone capable of basic English literacy. You can disagree with the point he was trying to make, and I invite you to, but it was still a clear point.
The evidence is overwhelming, even other dems see it. Joe has dementia. Trump has no signs of dementia, that is simply dem spin. I havent changed the topic at all, I have addressed only what you are bringing up. And yes, Joe botched it and looks foolish.
Here's my take, @yardmeat feel free to chime in too. You can't disagree with what yard is saying. There's no disagreeing that Trump has his speech moments and slip ups. They happen a lot. Same with Obama, and Bush. Trump probably a lot more than Obama. However, Biden's slip ups are different. They are more of age, than not studying up on the topic before speaking. Biden does seem very ill, IMO. Trump doesn't, I just don't think he prepares well for speeches and interviews. -Don't worry, I'm not a Dem either. I'm a right-leaning libertarian that voted 3rd party in 2016.
The evidence is the same for both candidates. Both slip and say weird things. Your unwillingness to actually discuss examples proves that your own position is not based on evidence. You actually haven't directly addressed any of the examples I've brought up, and you keep trying to change the topic to COVID. There are those who say that and there are those who actually read/listened to the full quote. I encourage you to join the latter.
I absolutely can disagree with what he is saying. He literally said Trump shows the same signs, that is completely wrong. There is a significant difference between an occasional slip up, and dementia. Ben Shapiro is one of the better speakers in the public sphere and even he has the occasional speech impediment. What dems are attempting to do is create a false equivalency between Trump and Biden. It simply doesn’t fly.
Objectively false, the evidence is not the same between the candidates. Dementia Joe shows actual signs of it, Trump does not. I am actively discussing. I have directly addressed everything you have brought up. I have, and Joe botched it. Meanwhile dems are busy talking about Trump allegedly claiming that people who died of covid are nobodies.
Look dude. I like Trump, I like how he goes against the mainstream RNC and DNC and he actually gets crap done. But even I won't deny he slips up A TON.
I disagree that Biden's slip-ups are all that different, but this is a perfectly respectable, rational position. That can be discussed. With evidence. And don't worry, I'll still be voting 3rd party in 2020. Frankly, maybe the whole libertarian thing is making me harder on the party in power and I'm not being objective. It's perfectly possible.
I never said he doesn’t. My argument is very specific. He doesn’t have dementia, and there is no comparison to be made between his slip ups and Joes.
Here's my personal take on it. Trump is VERY quick to answer questions especially questions that he doesn't like. This trips him up. His mouth is working faster than his brain. I'm guessing ADHD. Probably one of those test takers in school that didn't double check each answer before handing it in to the teacher. That's a perfect recipe for screwing up a speech or interview. Biden, takes his time, and still has these odd moments and interesting slip ups. I do think he's ill but I'm not a professional. His analytical approach is like Obama did it, but Biden is still botching a lot. That's why I think there's an underlying issue.

Frankly, that's a really, really good point that I hadn't considered. I'll jump in more later about the whole ADHD thing as I have my theories there, as well as thoughts on personality quirks, but I think they largely fall in line with your point.
Two questions. 1. Did Trump say "...pledge allegiance to this great country..." 2. Are those the correct words used in the pledge of Allegiance?
I cannot stand Biden but this is not the time to vote 3rd party. Trump is setting the table to steal the election and if it is not crystal clear that Biden is the winner we are ****ed. The USA 's last shred of any kind of Democracy will be over.
Obviously you are free to respond as you wish but the questions were posted for Moolk based on a link in an earlier post. Sadly I am a n00b and do not know how tell what post number it is so I cant tell you.
https://thehill.com/homenews/admini...llegiance-controversy-in-minnesota-people-are This is what you posted. Trump is saying that the pledge of allegiance to the country is under siege. He's not reciting the pledge like Biden was. That's a pathetic attempt to grab a short straw.
This is why in 2016 I voted 3rd party. Because of liberal and conservative extremists who believe a mere election is the end of the world. Pathetic.
I agree with you. What I don't understand is where Joe was going with that. And ending it with "for real"?!
Look toward the bottom of each message on the right hand side. The post number will have the # sign in front of it. It's dark grey so it's a bit hard to see. Hope this helps.
He didn't end it with "for real." That's the deceptive editing, but that's not what happened. He didn't end it there. The full quote is quite different.
No The word salads that Trump does are just typical of a strongly narcissistic personality. Because it is almost impossible for them to admit they do not know anything they “hide” it with confusing bullshit Trump does that so frequently it is not funny This is just the other day https://factba.se/transcript/donald...-moon-township-pennsylvania-september-22-2020 He is all over the shop and rambling. It is a sign of a disordered mind
