How can anyone still claim Trump is making good decisions for the country, after his willful ignorance and neglect has led to the superspreader event in the WH?

EVERYTHING Trump has said publicly about the virus was wrong. A president is supposed to know what is wrong and what is right and make good decisions accordingly. He is not supposed to be learning by doing (or learning by experiencing the virus).

If he has been wrong about covid all along, how can anyone think that he is right on other decisions, which he usually takes by testing his gut feeling, rather than listening to the experts? I'd say, it is time to get someone back into the WH who makes decisions based on evidence, rather than gut feeling. We also need someone who makes decisions based on what is best for the American people, not on what is best for his campaign.

    VOTE HIM OUT.

The TDS is getting worse by the day. Nothing anyone could have done could have stopped the pandemic. To blame it on Trump is preposterous.

Rick Wilson's book appears to be prophetic. The title certainly seems accurate.

Where did I say he could have prevented the pandemic? He couldn't have. He could have, however, taken it seriously, instead of dismissing and downplaying it for 8 months. He's gotten lucky until last week. Finally, the chickens have come home to roost. But before that, many have paid the ultimate price for his inept response. 4% of the world's population, but 20% of the world's death. Enough said.

If nothing could have been done to stop it then those numbers are inevitable.

    Oh but wait.

    Trump supposedly "Get's It" now..

Sadly it took seven months...probably a quarter million dead by the election...he himself contracting this disease as well as everyone close to him...

But oh wait..he "gets it" and still breaks protocol and takes a joy ride while infected and now tells people "not to be afraid of the virus"

    Yea...great leadership

Trump tweet today: "Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life.". Seems like he learned a lesson alright -- NOT. Herd immunity policies, here we come.

Covid is most contagious 48 hours before symptoms show. Covid patients are cared for and transported all the time. No need to run around with arms flailing.

The nation has been on a lock down for 6 months. We have to stop living in fear. Now that we know more about the virus it's time to on about our lives. The fatality rate has dropped significantly. People have to be allowed to go back to their lives and their livelihoods. These shut downs are becoming far deadlier than the virus itself.

Aside from that, Trump's accomplishments are more than enough reason to give him another term. Democrats do not like the gains we have seen in the economy and are doing everything in their power to stop the progress the American people have made. Hopefully they will see the games Democrats are playing with their jobs and lives and go vote for Trump.

You have no more idea how many people world wide have died if covid than I do and that is none at all. We'll never have accurate numbers from China and NK and we will never have accurate numbers from most of the third world

You're right. The numbers are probably far HIGHER than the million reported

It is a pandemic, it is contagious as hell. That's what makes it a pandemic in the first place. What you are seeing now is human nature taking effect as Carona fatigue. People nearly everywhere in the west, and more than a few other places are saying screw this damn crap. I've got a life and I'll leave as I damn well please. The hell with you and your damn rules.

This is a virus the world has not seen before. No president could have "known what is wrong and what is right" in proceeding. However, he has done a good job Biden constantly criticizes Trump, but never says what he would have done differently, except a few items Trump already did.

There is no mileage for Dems in blaming the president for getting sick with this illness. No matter what you say next, it will be perceived that you are blaming every victim of corona for being sick. But go ahead....

Likely double every where else outside of the West where we all have decent medical and reporting systems and the government doesn't have ironclad control of everything and a vested interest in lying about the death toll. By the way the apparent level of malnourishment in NK. What percent of their prison pop you think died if this crap if it got loose in there?

Trump doesn't smoke or drink, never has. So there goes two risk factors. He'll be fine it's Biden who's health we need to worry about.

There was, until Trump a pandemic guide written in the Bush era, there was a pandemic response team.....and yes it was Bolton who dismantled that but it could have been reinstituted and not handed to the inept son in law and the guy whose last response to a pandemic was to “pray it away”

Yes, and the rest of the world, including many third world countries, have a much lower mortality

Oh wait. They still don't have them

Maybe, maybe not. Maybe if the president practiced social distancing and wearing a mask and not mocking both then more of his sheep would have done more to help lessen the spread. I know, I know, it’s not cool to listen to scientists and doctors. I mean...what do they know. Surely Trump knows more.

Duh, I dunno, perhaps because my 401K is up 66% now since the day he took office. Me thinks I am happy.

Even if one accepts that logic, which I don’t, but even if I did, unless you’re saying a pandemic response team could have stopped the virus from spreading, then it wouldn’t matter. The virus would spread regardless.

We took the most extreme measures any civilized country could take outside of forcing lock down with military force and shooting people who didn’t comply. We could not take any more extreme measures and yet the virus still spread.

To blame that on Trump is dishonest at best.

Your 401k doesn't mean shi$ if you are on your deathbed, dying of viral pneumonia. Thanks, however, for clarifying that for a lot of Trump supporters $$$$ is the most important aspect of their thinking.
