<THREAD TITLE CHANGED TO MATCH LINK> FiveThirtyEight give Biden an 85% chance of winning. The Economist claims that Biden has a 92% to beat Trump. Fortune has analyzed Biden's performance in the polls in every state, and the Democrat is doing better than Obama in 2008 where he won against McCain in a landslide (365-173) If the vote were to take place today, Biden would be assured of winning 279 electoral colleges only with leaning democrat states - where he leads to Trump by 5% or more - like Pennsylvania, Virginia, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. To be declared the winner, Biden wouldn't need Florida, Arizona, Ohio, Georgia or North Carolina. And he leads on Trump in all these states as well....
If Trump won this election, it would be the biggest turnaround in the history of this country. He has withdrawn all his ads in the midwest - because he has no more money - and places all his hopes in Florida, because he knows that if Biden wins it, he will automatically be declared President. Trump hopes to at least keep Florida and make the suspense last a little longer.
No he is not. Just heard they contact traced 9 people from his last airplane hanger rally that tested positive. Two are hospitalized, one on a ventilator.
as long as people get out to vote remember, Trump tries to act like a crazy person so no one thinks he can win as no one would vote for him, but sadly the republicans like crazy people it seems he does this in hopes the left do not bother to vote not voting is a vote for Trump
Trump prepared an army of lawyers to challenge the election result. But if Biden wins decisively - and that's what seems to be looming - Trump will be legally neutralized.
Seems the Bookies have long odds on Trump (is that how you say it? Not a betting person ) https://www.oddschecker.com/insight...s-give-trump-lowest-chance-of-winning-in-2020 Well at least “the odds are against him”
On October 10th 2016, Hillary Clinton was said to have a 95% Chance of being elected President, but guess who ended up crying in her Soup. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...ters-ipsos-states-of-the-nation-idUSKCN12A1VK
This. It's not 2016 anymore. Trump's running as the incumbent, which for him is actually a disadvantage. He can't necessarily call himself an outsider of the beltway(even though for all intents and purposes, the beltway hates him.) Then there's this derangement syndrome which has gotten absolutely bonkers, it's even affected me to a degree admittedly. Voting for Biden would be in a way, putting an end to all of this chaos.
I don’t trust polls anymore. Keep up the pressure on trump and work to get the voters to the polls or voting by mail, but get them to vote. Hopefully, trump will help us by doubling down on what he’s been doing for 4 years and remind voters how tired they are of his self serving demagoguery and lies.
There may be misleading surveys, but the trend is still clear. And then this good news today: As of Friday, 1.7 million registered Democrats had returned their ballots, while only 750,000 registered Republican ballots had been received. Democratic ballots requested are nearly double that of Republican ballots as well, with more than 22 million Democratic ballot requests and just 13 million Republican ballot requests.
They said that in 2016 too, and then what happened? The worst thing to do is to become complacent. Every Dem has to vote as if their life depended on it.
And if Trump wins decisively the Dems will naturally claim he cheated. They had it rigged, like they did for Hillary. How could voters be so blind...?
Good luck getting younger voters to turn out for an old man the party intends to replace anyway, making a mockery of that very vote. Hey kid! Have we got a double-shuffle bait-and-switch bend-you-over for YOU!!!!
Where did we hear that before? Oh yeah, in 2016. Biden isn't leading in anything except the deranged media. According to the very same sources, Hilary had a 95% chance.
ahh that was Biden who hired a bunch of attorney. Biden Brings in ‘Hundreds of Lawyers’—Big Names Among Them—in Anticipation of ‘Unique’ Election Legal Battles The Biden campaign has brought in an army of lawyers, including former President Barack Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder, in anticipation of a brawl in the courts with the Trump campaign over the “unique challenges” that voting in 2020 entails. The New York Times reported on Monday that “hundreds of lawyers”—including Holder, two U.S. solicitors general from the Clinton and Obama presidencies, the former general counsel for Obama’s campaigns and the DNC law firm Perkins Coie that has been on the front lines of various voting-related cases—have joined Joe Biden’s so-called “special litigation” unit. https://lawandcrime.com/2020-electi...nticipation-of-unique-election-court-battles/ Why is all the mail in voting is going to work so perfectly?
Biden has no choice. Trump claims he cannot lose unless the election is rigged. And, as always, Trump has no proof whatsoever.
Obviously, Biden is a LOCK. His Worst Case (at this point) is 290. Clinton Map + PA, WI, MI, AZ, NE-2. That is Biden's absolute FLOOR. Very legit shots in FL, NC, and add in ME-2 = Biden 335/Trump 203. ^That is the Map that most serious pollsters think is very possible. Add in OH and IA, and that gets Biden into Landslide Territory.
Indeed, there are so many paths to a Biden victory that it would take a miracle for Trump to reverse the situation. And as I mentioned, if Biden wins Florida - and he' s at +3.5% right now - the election night will end very early.
