Another poster twisting my words. Either intellectually dishonest or reading comprehension issues. Regardless of which, I don’t have time for two of you today.

You don't have issues with getting stuff from your DMV?

You know that's a State agency?

Maybe you didn't.....who knows....apparently your inability to take care of your personal responsilities that you owe to your State, is the fault of the USPS and the President....sad

a lack of trust is their problem, the media's problem, the democrats fear mongering.

The fkn mail is safe. If off balance people disagree that is their issue not mine.

Causes of delays does not mean much. A delay of five minutes is a delay. The post office is saying the significant delays are due to the virus. Nothing about the changes.

Congratulations, please check to make sure it's been received.

And I STRONGLY urge anyone voting for Biden to vote in person. It's no more dangerous than going grocery shopping and far FAR more important if you like America as a democracy. (If you're voting for Trump, please don't)

They said delays. Did they say what the average delay was?

Don’t know, didn’t follow the inquiry terribly close.

    Then I will summarize.

The House did an investigation which only looked at the recent changes, but did not look at delays to other factors.

You don't know how much delays were added by the changes or other factors.

But, you are willing to call the delays significant and blame whatever delays there might have been on Trump and the new Postmaster General.

Doesn't sound like you have much of a case.

I did the same, as did my wife, here in Arapahoe County. I dropped our ballots in the mailbox, and the postman (or woman) picked them up. It is great pleasure to be voting for a decent man with whom my political perspective aligns, NOT 47 year politician Biden.

They are intellectually dishonest. In fact, they probably think that post office workers are moochers who are getting paid big tax payer's bucks to be lazy and do the minimum. They are using them as pawns to twist your words into something they didn't mean.

I agree with this I still ship a lot of stuff in addition to my regular office mail and I have complete faith in the USPS, the service is 99.9 spot on.

Virus, expanded online shopping, people calling in sick all contribute in small amounts.

I get frustrated because there are certain people out there that are constantly looking to be the victim, find the victim, expose the victim, blame someone for victimizing.

Daily life is full of minor challenges, suck it up and get through it like the rest of us.

Because the USPS was a shining example of efficiency and government accuracy before the whole debate about mail in ballots?

Oh good. So you decided to vote for Trump after all.

Texas is doing fine. Record early voting after two days of the polls being open. Mailboxes work fine for the people who requested absentee ballots. They don't call them "mail in" ballots for nothing. We sort of think people can mail in the mail in's.

I don't recall there ever being non-USPS "ballot drop boxes" in addition to any regular mailbox for absentee ballots.

Anyway, yes, there are polling locations all over the place for in-person votes and/or people can drop their ballots at a polling location if they don't want to use the mail. You can even track your ballot status online to see if they've received it.

No one is disenfranchised. That's just more media trauma and drama. Over 1 million Texans voted yesterday on the first day of early voting.

It’s the most widely beloved government agency, so I’d say yes, they were doing a good job.

Yeah, well its been politicized now, so I would expect revisionist history.

USPS’s overall financial condition is deteriorating and unsustainable. USPS has lost $69 billion over the past 11 fiscal years—including $3.9 billion in fiscal year 2018. USPS’s total unfunded liabilities and debt ($143 billion at the end of fiscal year 2018) have grown to double its annual revenue.

    https://www.gao.gov/key_issues/us_p...ted in GAO's 2019,billion in fiscal year 2018.
