I filled it out, put it in the return envelope, signed the envelope, and will be dropping it off at a secure ballot box along with my wife's.

There are 2 drop-off locations in my city, located in CO. By glancing at the list of locations in neighboring cities it appears there are around one dozen drop-off locations within a 5 mile radius. Unlike TX, where the feckless, anti-democratic governor has made it as difficult as he can to use drop boxes because surveys indicate more Dems will use mail-in/absentee ballots.

It is safe (from COVID), secure, convenient, my duty as a citizen, and my great pleasure to be voting for a decent man with whom my political perspective aligns.

In Harris county some residents will have to drive a 94 mile round trip to drop off their mail in ballot. That’s madness and there’s no justification for it.

94 miles in Texas is just an hour and a half. My polling place is around thirty miles away, but it is a one hour round trip.

Doesn’t make it acceptable. That’s an unreasonable impediment to ones right to vote.

Given the administrations assault on the postal service, there is no way in hell I would trust my ballot going into a mailbox.

So now you are insulting the nearly one million Americans who work for the post office.

Nice attempt to twist my words. If you’re not being intellectually dishonest right now then you need to work on your reading comprehension. This administration has been waging an all out assault on the postal service. They’ve been crippled. I don’t trust that in their current state there wouldn’t be some kind of issue with my ballot being counted on time.

An article I saw mentioned TX has counties that are enormous, meaning someone wanting to use a ballot box could literally need to drive hundreds of miles round trip to drop their ballot off. It isn't madness, it's by Repub design.

Do you think that somehow your mail could get messed with by Trump or people working directly for Trump? Trump may be good, but he is not that good..

Indeed. The right does better when fewer people vote, and they know it.

No. I think the system has been rendered incompetent due to Trumps actions. It happens when Trump sabotages his employees.

Are you getting your mail regularly without a problem? Why do you think mail in ballots is any different without the post office employees messing with your mail in ballots?

Are you getting your other mail regularly?
Mine has not changed a bit. I still get mail regularly. I got a letter addressed to someone else this week, but that has happened as long as I have lived here.

The administration has done everything in its power to slow mail deliveries. They don’t need to tamper with ballots if they can just prevent them from getting there on time.

Nope, I’ve been waiting on a reprint of a car title from the Arizona MVD for nearly four months. They’ve sent it a few times and it has yet to arrive. All the information I need to know that I shouldn’t trust critical mail with the USPS while Trump is in office.

"A U.S. Postal Service spokeswoman tells Eyewitness News that the slowdown in mail deliveries is due to the COVID-19 pandemic and that more people have been placing online orders for essential goods, leading to heavy parcel volumes."
Nothing there about it being due to Trump.

Almost like people who don’t want to lose their job know not to speak truth to power. No surprise there.

I’m accusing them of knowing not to say things that will cause them to lose their jobs in the middle of a pandemic.
    Try again.
