Kyle Rittenhouse won’t be charged for gun offense in Illinois: prosecutors

Rittenhouse, once part of a youth cadet program for aspiring police officers, can be seen on his Facebook page posing in a blue police uniform with a silver badge and broad-brimmed hat. In other online photos and videos, he takes target practice and brandishes a rifle above the caption, “Blue Lives Matter.”

On Tuesday night, as Rittenhouse stood in front of a boarded-up building, he spoke to a reporter from the Daily Caller news site.

“People are getting injured and our job is to protect this business,” Rittenhouse said. “And part of my job is to also help people. If there is somebody hurt, I’m running into harm’s way. That’s why I have my rifle.”

That's why he loitered around all day doing interviews, providing medical assistance, and scrubbing graffiti....so he wouldn't get caught.

That's why he called the cops after he shot the first criminal.

That's why he ran towards the police instead of shooting at targets of opportunity.

You're speaking for Rittenhouse and declaring what his own intent was. You don't get to accuse others of doing that when that's precisely what you are doing.

He didn't fire the first shot until they started coming after him. Unless of course you're able to provide proof he just shot someone for absolutely no reason before they started to chase him.

Well you are kind of making my point, there were people not doing the right thing. If Rittenhouse didn't show up armed, none of that would have happened.

 

Not everything, but his actions are his own responsibility and if he didn't show up armed and out of place, none of it would have happened.
