Till now, I have not eaten Pickerel and have never been into Maine. I was across the border from MA into New Hampshire though 2 times.

Whose science? And that is the problem so many rely on second hand information instead of looking at the source material

The IPCC is the primary source

You need multiple sources, that's what was wrong with Michael Mann's cherry picked hockey stick graph, a few trees from Siberia and combing proxies with hard digital data

You speak of “multiple sources” and then focus on ONE scientist and ONE paper he wrote - and you have not even got that right

DO you know how many authors and contributing authors each section of the IPCC has? How many paper are cited?

I focus on one because he is a poster boy for making this political like James Hansen ( the scientist that AL Gore used) and that idiot Cook.

This shouldn't be political what so ever, but the attention whores like I mentioned and fruit loops like Naomi Klein made it so.

And that happened when? Since then there have been numerous investigations (seven I think) and RE-examination of the primary data as well as new investigations using other proxy data and guess what?

    The hockey stick is real

Now WTF is Naomi Klein? Is she a climate scientist? Lead Author at the IPCC? Some blogger?

BTW here is where you find who and how many Authors each chapter of the IPCC reports have

    https://apps.ipcc.ch/report/authors/

As a hint each chapter of each working group report has in excess of 200 authors

Computer modelling was a tool of science before there were computers.

You are playing a game without knowing the rules, or even where the ballpark is.

What do you mean who is Naomi Klein she was the damn popes retarded "science advisor" and her stupid "environmental justice" even Kim Cobb from Georgia tech one of the leading authors of the next IPCC report is not immuned from her .

Ocean currents go where they go when they go there. We can’t change their course. They do that on their own without our input.

Pope Francis recruits Naomi Klein in climate change battle
Social activist ‘surprised but delighted’ to join top cardinal in high-level environment conference at the Vatican

Naomi Klein and Cardinal Peter Turkson are to lead a high-level conference on the environment, bringing together churchmen, scientists and activists to debate climate change action. Klein, who campaigns for an overhaul of the global financial system to tackle climate change, told the Observer she was surprised but delighted to receive the invitation from Turkson’s office

EL nino's are getting more violent, if you read the research by Kim Cobb who I mentioned.

For nearly two decades Cobb’s research has focused on unraveling the mystery of El Niño and La Niña events and how they have changed over time. Using oxygen isotopes and decaying uranium locked away in living and fossilized coral, Cobb and colleagues have revealed an intermittent record of El Niño and La Niña events going back 7,000 years

They aren’t getting more violent. They vary in intensity continually.

Ummm, models use real world data. So, what, do you want to wait until this planet is wrecked, and say "Yup, the data we just collected says we wrecked the planet. If only there was a way we could have used data to foresee this disaster!" sigh.

Lol, is god where you get your vast knowledge about the climate and how we are not damaging the planet?

They use cherry picked parts of real world data They use selected tid-bits which they know will support their predetermined conclusions. Computer models are generally “garbage in, garbage out”.

Modern climate science starts with a conclusion and then manipulates data to support that conclusion.

Models use real world data. Try again.

    I should have expected that.

It was called math modeling, you used a scientific calculator, a good one like a HP with reverse Polish notation. It was done before calculators, but that required a team of math guys more often than not.

I tried to do it, the math was the stuff of nightmares.

It's called a hypothesis, and was a standard part of science before your grandparents were born.

There were 2 studies in the 1970s where the hypothesis was that there was AGW, both found it. One was an oil company, they didn't want to find it.

This is like a foot race with a quadriplegic.

During my grandparents time, scientific research didn’t start with a conclusion then cherry-pick data to support that conclusion.

Then they considered all data and used all of it to reach a conclusion. They weren’t concerned with reaching a particular conclusion. That as in an era when science was not corrupted by politics

Things aren’t true just because you want them to be true.

The models are only as good as the data imputed, we need more data, the earth is 4.5 billion years old not a 100 years old
