    I prefer neither party permanent rule. In fact, in this extreme divided environment, I prefer split control.

    That is not the only reason for Trump's win, but yes it is part of it. The disaster of eight years of Bush Jr, the economic collapse and wrongful war in Iraq, the explosive growth of terrorism that Bush Jr's incompetence fueled, all that shocked a far right demographic into a state of massive denial. Toss in a barely begun politician at the atart of his career takign the White House, and he's a black man who talks like a white college professor, well hell yes iut was more than they could take.

    But it took Shrillery Clinton, the incompetent and non-accomplished phony that she is, suddenly demanding the Presidency as her due that really set the ground for Trump.

    For myself I was overjoyed when she lost...
    Also horrified that Trump won.

    2016 .... a very bad year as Presidential Silly Seasons go!
