I left Illinois; it's about as corrupt as it can be. I lived in the suburbs. This was a constant topic of conversation. Chicago can't find a good QB, and they can't find a mayor with actual ideas on how to make it better.

Agreed. But the conversation I was having was about the investment of money to achieve the decrease in crime. Pension money was thrown out as a suggestion and I preferred taxation. How else would you suggest funding the overhaul?

I married a Chicago girl. She was born, raised and lived much of her life there until she went elsewhere with me. She doesn't miss Chicago at all. She doesn't even want to go visit. She loves living in the country. Hopefully the people of Chicago will stay there. We don't particularly want them out here.
