About people who whine about lockdowns: I think their handlers and their opinion-makers and influencers tell them to whine about lockdowns... because I look around and see no lockdown whatsoever. We had, depending on the state, 3 to 5 weeks of poorly enforced lockdowns in April/May (in my state there was no enforcement whatsoever and only 38% of the population obeyed the orders, which without enforcement were more a suggestion than an order). We haven't had lockdowns for 7 months... but mysteriously, people continue to complain of lockdowns.

 

yeah, let's get the gov't to stop giving tax breaks to millionaires, to keep acting like "trickle down economics" is going to eventually work...to stop treating corporated entities like human beings with "rights", to stop having the working folk foot the bill for corporate out sourcing and regional relocation. Let's get the gov't to stop bitching about social programs while saying NOTHING about "corporate welfare", or letting the pharmaceutical companies make up prices with impunity. Let's get the gov't to stop sending troops off to wars based on lies and then NOT taking care of them financially when then come home broken.

Yeah, let's get the gov't the f**k out of the way....or (GASP!) get off our collective butts and vote out this mindset locally and federally.

 

Not to forget, it won't be Tuesday night. Georgia laws are such that the several million mail-in ballots won't start being counted until 7 PM. It will be several days before we know who won.

Trump never had a great economy, or the fed would have stopped dumping $$$ into the economy and the interest rates would have gone back up and the debt would have stopped climbing

as fast as the fed dumps money, corps hire overseas with foreign outsourcing and buy goods from foreign imports.... sending that money overseas fast, what doesn't go overseas goes into the pockets of the rich

A presidential term is a presidential term. Jan 20 to Jan 20 four years later. So Biden’s market clock begins Jan 21. Just like Trumps did.
