But having one Party preventing action to address a national health & economic crisis has been working out great, right? Having cash-strapped states, behind in distributing Covid vaccines, with a more contagious variant recently in the country, is no problem, 'cause it's all just a hoax, yes?

Perdue took the lead, as I expected. Ossoff is toast. Warnock maybe still has a chance due to Savannah having only 40% counted.

The reality is that mail in ballots bump democrats and same day voting bump republicans.

That's why, in states like Florida, Biden had a nice lead, but ultimately lost. They counted mail ins first.

That's why, in states like Georgia, Trump had a nice lead, but ultimately lost. They counted same day votes, first.

The mail in votes are almost 100% counted. The remaining votes will mostly be republican.

Kornacki is not predicting but he is saying something that I was it is that Warnock is doing better than Ossof so Warnock may win butbOssof can lose or as I said a few weeks ago will lose.

That doesn't jibe with what what I'm seeing. Though around 60% of the vote reported, it's not equally in, from all counties. The reason the margins just narrowed was that Cherokee County, a Republican stronghold, is now 95% in. The majority of what's still out, is from the ATLANTA AREA. These are predominently Democratic Counties, which have only 30% in. Don't throw in the towel yet, it's still early.

NYT still estimates DeKalb 250K remaining... by far largest remaining outstanding and ran 83% Biden...

Cobb county is 36% in Ossof and Warnock are still beating Biden's percent but turnout down will hurt them.

Both Republicans have taken the lead.

Atlanta is over 80% reporting and the remaining votes should favor the Republicans.

What? Atlanta has counted 83% already. Switch to CNN. John King is the man.
Loeffler has just pulled ahead, too.

Here's the story right now: 1. Black turnout looks, frankly, phenomenal. 2. Perdue/Loeffler are approaching Trump %s of the vote in a lot of deep red rural counties, but turnout there isn't anything special. 3. It's getting harder to see a path for either R, but esp. Loeffler.

Side note: They're still running campaign blitz ads on TV in Georgia fully two and a half hours after the polls closed. I heard an interview with a postal worker who said we can expect a backlog of political ads in our mailboxes for two more weeks. I'm so tired of it. Why did this have to happen in my state?

Blech. Sorry you have to deal. We had to watch the Chiefs game through VPN in Georgia last week. We felt SO bad for all of you.

Horrible how these candidates campaign. One half of one BILLION dollars. It's absolute insanity.

NBC IS saying 83% but I have not seen what the raw outstanding vote number is. But 250K does sound over stated by NYT.

Bout even if it 100K outstanding that could flip it back to W and O by .5%.

So the outstanding number of votes is key.

75% of statewide counts are in.

John King thinks that the blue counties that are at 40%, 51% of the votes counted, it's a lot of early voting. So the blue advantage even there may not be sustainable.
I think King is inclined to believe that the GOP will win.
The NYT seems to think the opposite. I don't know who to believe. I guess it's a toss-up for now.
