FBI requests help from public to identify U.S. Capitol rioters

I the past many cities have used photos and videos posted on social media to arrest rioters and looters. I remember news of people charged this way after rioting and looting after a sports team lost.

Do you think the rioters at the Capitol should be treated in a similar manner? There have been many pictures and videos posted online, often by people committing the crimes or taking selfies.

Would you support Trump coming out and pardoning these individuals before he leaves office? Could that gain him even greater support and loyalty once he leaves office?

Don't know if the POTUS would try that but I wouldn't be surprised by anything he does to crash and burn everything on his way out.

Law enforcement could play it out to not make any arrests until after January 20th, 2021 to ensure that rioters cannot be pardoned.

I think it is up to 68 now and every Republican I have heard including Trump has said they should be prosecuted to the full extent. One of them was Aaron Mostofsky the adult son of Brooklyn Supreme Court Judge Shiomo Mostofsky . Aaron was wearing Fur pelts topped with a police department bullet proof vest and carrying a long walking stick. he appears in multiple pictures inside the capitol. His father is very prominent in the Brookline Jewish community.

 

So, we know he won't face any charges.
