1 week left to Trump's presidency and no due process. Our government is heading down a very bad road. If they vote to impeach this will set up a very bad precedence. This won't help unite the country, it will create more radical extremists. Did the US not learn from the mistakes it made which helped radical Islamic groups to enlist more jihadists?

Two absurd comments (JT3534 & Mood). Democrats had won the Presidency, held the House and taken back the Senate. Pence had already told Trump that he did not have the power to overturn the State certified electoral count. Democrats held the House and to act on anything other than agreeing to the State certifications required a majority of BOTH the House and the Senate. The outcome was in favor of the Democrats. Why then would they back the disruption of a process they'd already essentially won?

Why then did not publicly demand an end to the attack on the Capitol. And, we he finally did "tweet" recognition of the Capitol attack, he tweeted they (the criminals we watched breaking and entering the Capitol and battling Capitol police, stealing, etc.) should go home, but he loved them.

We're not "moving on." Crimes were committed. An investigation has to be done, indictments and trials accomplished.

I'm watching it live and I can't believe how butt hurt some of the republicans whining about how mean and nasty dems have been to their Dear Leader. Seems they are now decrying the "divisive" rhetoric of the left but some how ignore any role that the subject of the impeachment might have had in upping the hate speech and prompting outraged reactions from democrats.

he had called a crowd of his supporters to march to the Capitol and the march got out of hand and some of his supporters
had stormed the capitol and killed a police officer and injured 50 others ...

Now you might understand why some people might be calling for impeachment and removal. Or, you are
