I have to conclude that it is ideological in nature. If it is ideology that is at play, we have a complex quandary facing our nation, cus Trump was but a mouthpiece & a seat in a leather chair... Get my drift?

 

Love of country? LOL! Maybe he could have started to show his love of country by gracefully conceding to Biden and celebrating him at the inauguration? Or is that too much love of country to ask?

Good grief you really want to go back to the Obama/Biden polices? Did you not listen to all the achievements of his administration he laid out today I understand you hate the man, I can't stand him personally but you cannot deny the achievements he had which is far more than Obama/Biden ever accomplished.

 

You must be approaching this from the point of view that Biden actually won (perhaps he did) & that any fact finding or challenge based on forthcoming evidence was / is inherently traitorous... Is that your assertion @Quantum Nerd ?

Other than January 6th, I never once thought he "destroyed the country" or even attempted to destroy it. He went about policies that differed from both traditional Democrats and Republicans, with mixed results. On one hand, I appreciate the new trade agreements that got into place(actually, if I think about it. It's the Trump economic team that got the least amount of fanfare and the least amount of pushback.). Likewise, his unconventional approach to the Middle East has paid us great dividends in ending the conflicts in that region. I think the days of us pretending we're standing in the middle ground(while covertly(and not so covertly) supporting Israel are over. If we're going to be on that side, being fully on that side makes it an established norm and a stronger ground for the Israelis and for us in the pursuit of compromising agreements.

And of course, I do appreciate the lack of expanding conflicts around the world. Contrary to fears, Trump didn't launch us into a major world war nor did he preemptively launch nukes(or ever launched nukes). Of course, what he did on January 6 and the months prior, pretty much negate all of this. As well as his handling of the coronavirus.

So history will judge him, very poorly. On the other hand, the circumstances(especially pertaining to the coronavirus) were largely out of his control(and out of Biden's as well, I can't wait for that excuse to pop up, some time June 2021.). Rumors, speculation, innuendo destroyed the Trump Presidency really before it began and as the years go on, the more those dastardly rumors should anger a populace, because we might've had a different administration if they hadn't been as disruptive.

But onto Biden, let's see what this clown show brings us.

 

I may be a little bit behind the times, however, I do believe that a 2021 Presidential inauguration has yet to occur; as in - your & my president is still Donald J Trump... (hopefully just a 4 year respite)...

 

As one of the most fervent democrat of this forum, I wish three things to the MAGA movement:

1- That Trump forms a new party (the Patriot Party) ... which will divide the conservative vote.

Your fervor towards him must not waver. He's the chosen one and he has been robbed of his elections.

2- That the MAGA continue to demonize all those who may have been critical of Trump.

They are traitors, Deep State agents, Globalists and friends of Soros.

Trump is above any possible criticism.

3- Continue to see yourselves as victims who are persecuted by the left, big tech, MSM.... and Soros.

If you scrupulously follow my three advice, Harris will be elected in 2028 after Biden's two terms.

 

Possibly you may be aggrandizing yourself here... A more apt characterization of ideological motive might find itself as bedfellows - in good company - with a few characters that I will only make inference to, so as not to get more warning points...

If he is successful, then there very well may be a real concerted effort on the left by progressives to distance themselves from the democratic liberals. Mostly though, Trump will likely suck up independents and not-likely voters more than the republican base if he does go this route.

 

30 years from now, Trump will only be remembered in High School History tests as the Only President to be impeached twice. He will be a trivia question, nothing more.
