False. CNN is the article cited. The source is where the information originated from which is The New York Times.

It must be interesting living in a world where any information you don’t like is simply labeled as “fake news”.

 

In fact, Gaetz has stated publicly that the DOJ investigation is into an extortion scheme he reported to the FBI - not underaged sex.

The CNN/NYT reports should be considered Fake News because Gaetz, like every other American citizen, is far more credible than the MSM.

Never believe anything from the MSM without independent proof of accuracy.

Russian interference was proven and Russian collusion was not disproven.

How many people went to jail, had their assets seized, pled guilty? For it to be “fake news” it had some very real ramifications.

Like I said, it must be an interesting world.

 

Gaetz, the guy who said facial recognition software proved ANTIFA stormed the capitol? Then the company came out and said he was lying and confirmed a bunch of white nationalists were provoking the riot? Yea, Gaetz exudes credibility doesn't he.

CNN is the source for everything it reports. Surely you know that. CNN may rely on other sources, but when they report they are the source of information.

But if your point is that the NYT is no more reliable than CNN then you are right.

The NYT sacrificed it's last scaps of credibility when it fired its copy editors.
Even the NYT's own Opinion Editor/writer had to finally blew the whistle of the Fake News NYT.

Let's see a quote from the Carlson interview where Gaetz states that the FBI investigation is into his misconduct?

 

Here is a snippet from the AP.

Gaetz said that the allegations were part of an extortion plot by a former Justice Department official.

“Over the past several weeks my family and I have been victims of an organized criminal extortion involving a former DOJ official seeking $25 million while threatening to smear my name,” Gaetz said in a statement.

Gaetz said his family has been cooperating with the FBI and said his father was wearing a recording device, at the FBI’s direction, “to catch these criminals.” He demanded the Justice Department release the recordings.

“No part of the allegations against me are true, and the people pushing these lies are targets of the ongoing extortion investigation,” he said.
