Why wouldn’t we? Have an accusation you’d like to level against them?

I note that you don't even have a Fake News source for any of that.
Do you deny that AntiFa/BLM were in the Capitol building during the riot?

IOW, the Gaetz states that the FBI investigation was not into any misconduct on his part.

Is AP part of the MSM - or not? The MSM in America is not credible.
Surely you know that by now.

Then paste up a quote from your source that you find persuasive.

Why are they not credible? Does it have something to do with any group of people in particular?

IOW, you can not paste up a quote from Gaetz stating that he is the subject of an FBI investigation into his misconduct. I wonder why that is so hard for you to do?

Do they have an obvious partisan political smear section?

LOL! They get caught telling lies - a lot. Surely you know that by now.

"First the New York Times admitted 4, not 17 U.S. intelligence agencies took part in the assessment that Russia tried to influence the election to help Trump. Now the AP admits it as well, but they say it was 3 agencies! The timing on this is very strange since the truth has been obvious for months.

Both issued brief corrections even though it was always obvious it was never 17. They’ve been repeating this fake news since last October."

Yes, is it too much to ask you to paste up what you found so convincing?

That would be like saying Wikipedia is a source instead of the linked references... which isn’t accurate. As for what constitutes “fake news” I will go by the percentage of legitimate articles vs false ones (CNN actually scores fairly high).

It is strange how you have moved to disgruntled employees resigning as a metric of standing for an organization while ignoring these people for the last four years.

Then you are one of the very few who still trust CNN or any other Fake News MSM outlet. CNN is a notorious Fake News source. It seems to specialize in Fake News.

That CNN is willing to hire and employ known liars is not news. This is not the first time they have demonstrated that. One of the immediate effects of our reporting on the Snowden archive with The Guardian back in 2013 — beginning with our revelation that the National Security Agency was collecting the telephone records of millions of American citizens — was it proved that President Obama’s most senior national security official, Director of Intelligence James Clapper, had lied to Congress, which happens to be a felony.

In March of that year, Clapper appeared for testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee, and was asked directly by Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Oregon): “Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?” Clapper’s now-notorious answer: “No, sir, not wittingly.” As Slate pointedly put it after its national security correspondent, Fred Kaplan, called for Clapper’s firing: “The Director of National Intelligence lied to Congress about NSA surveillance. What else will he lie about?”

That Clapper, like Taylor, got caught lying red-handed about a major political question and had proven himself an untrustworthy liar, willing to spout falsehoods when it suits him, was evidently of no concern to CNN.”
GREENWALD, CNN Is Just The Latest News Outlet To Prove Deliberate Lying Is Not An Impediment to Employment, Former Trump DHS official, now CNN analyst, Miles Taylor got caught blatantly lying on CNN's airwaves to host Anderson Cooper, but The Most Trusted Name In News™ doesn't mind at all., By Glenn Greenwald, By Glenn Greenwald, 11/2/20.

None of what you posted has anything to do with any sources from CNN. Who they hire and the factuality of what they report are two different things.

You can accurately claim they are biased but there is little substantive argument that they are “fake news” as the vast majority of their written news articles (not opinion pieces) are factual when rated against other media organizations. When judging their TV news they drop to slightly higher than written news articles (not opinion pieces) of Fox News.

I always assumed that if Gaetz ever got into a sex scandal, it would be with a boy. Sorry he just seems like a weirdo.

However given the state of the media today, it's relatively easy to give him the benefit of the doubt. I hadn't heard of this until his issue until his bonkers interview with Tucker last night. One thing that was different from most nutty defenses is that he actually named the guy he says is extorting him, David McGee, a former DOJ attorney. So since he's named names, this could get a little wild. One thing for sure, no matter how it plays out, it's popcorn time.

Gaetz apparently went to the FBI and asked them to investigate an extortion scheme.
When will Republicans finally learn that the FBI/police are not their good buddies?
The GOP is not called "The Stupid Party" for nothing.
