You invariably conflate evolution with abiogenesis. Evolution is ONLY about the change of living things over time and has nothing to do with how life arose in the first place.

What is the scientific basis for assuming that similar DNA means a common ancestor? When you see a biplane and a jet-which share common features of wings, body, tires, engine, controls, etc.-do you assume that one must have evolved from the other naturally, without a maker?

It's more reasonable to conclude that similar design indicates a common, intelligent designer. An architect typically uses the same building materials for numerous buildings, and a car manufacturer commonly uses the same parts in various models.

The universe displays creation, design, art, and order. If everything else has a creator, designer, artist, or orderer behind it, why would you think that there is not a Creator, Designer, Artist, and Orderer behind this universe?

 

Homologous structures provide evidence for common ancestry while analogous structures show that similar selective pressures can produce similar adaptations (beneficial features). Similarities and differences among biological molecules (in the DNA sequence of genes) can be used to determine species' relatedness.
