What about it? What don't we know that all the criminal investigations have not turned up you think this commission is going to find. What is you think that happened that somehow has not be discovered. If there was this grand conspiracy what hasn't the FBI arrested the grand conspirators? If Bannon conspired to overthrow the government why hasn't he been arrested for that? That IS what these Dems and Rino's want to prove isn't it?

He was the selection of the Minority Leader wasn't he? He's being banned from the commission by Pelosi. What about it was all going to be bipartisan?

It is their job. And they will be doing it. Bannon can be the martyr of choice. He can take the 5th but the records/evidence will be seen.

No, your position is totally politically biased.

As if the 1/6 Commission violated the Constitution.....

I've told you this many times before:

    - What actions Trump took inside the government to overturn the election.

    - Whether Trump deliberately endangered law enforcement during the insurection.

Ah, so you admit insurrection would lose in court. Of course it would. Left wing fantasies usually do.

What is this ridiculous strategy of clinging to the definition of crime?

You would have been ecstatic if this riot had succeeded in overturning the election so Trump could stay in office.

    You still think Trump won.

What’s ridiculous about sticking to facts? No wonder you are so confused.

The facts are that you wish this riot had succeeded in preventing Pence from certifying the vote but you refuse to call it an insurrection because you believe it was legitimate.

The FBI has said there was no evidence anyone was attempting tonover throw the government. It would be a crime not a matter of LEGISLATION. Nor can Congressional subpoena's be issue against private citizens just to see what they were doing.

Oh I think I do. It's just that Bannon doesn't want to face the music if you know what I mean.
January 6 was a day that will live in infamy like that of Pearl Harbor or 9/11. The attacks that happen in the Capitol Building was uncalled for and Steve Bannon probably had something to do with it. That's what I know for now.

Are you talking about the rioters or the government members?

Find me an article about what you're talking about.
The subpoena power granted to a congressional committee is very broad and the 1/6 committee certainly did not exceed its rights.

If it had, I can safely say that the Republicans would have brought out the heavy artillery.

But contrary to your claims, no elected official is challenging the investigative authority of this committee.

    So you're wrong.

    https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/22/politics/steve-bannon-contempt-what-next/index.html
The criminal contempt referral from the House of Representatives against right-wing agitator Steve Bannon landed at the DC US Attorney's Office on Thursday with unusual fanfare, setting off potentially weeks of legal decision-making at the Justice Department.
The House's vote 229-202 vote Thursday to hold Bannon in contempt for defying its January 6 committees' subpoenas sets in motion a court process that begins with prosecutors considering legal questions and building a case.
The DC US Attorney's office received the referral via a courier Thursday night. It could decline to charge Bannon, charge him quickly, or use a grand jury to investigate and indict the longtime adviser to former President Donald Trump.

There's no strict timeline for how much time the Justice Department will take in deciding whether to move forward with the prosecution. And it's not absolute that Bannon will be charged.
I wonder if that means Bannon won't be treated like a criminal. I suppose not if he's not charged.

If so, Bannon will be forgetting his name while at Leavenworth.
