Trump sought to recount and demonstrate that the Dems rigged the election with extra ballots, phony ballots submitted through the mail-in voting process (which leaks like a sieve) and similar efforts. The results of such investigations in places like Arizona prved that such things happened, but at this late date it seems irrelevant. It will be interesting to see if the invasion of illegals, demonstrated weakness of the USA in Afghanistan, inflation, supply disruption, coming crippling taxes, rights of parents to determine what their own kids learn, etc will leave us time to get it right in 2024.

Before these events, I defended people for voting for Trump. I didn't like him, but I understood voting for him as the lesser of two evils. Then he tried stealing an election, which you are apparently fine with.

I realize Pence rolled over and showed his belly to capitulate to Trump, but the reality is that Trump was criticizing him over Twitter (and his cult was reading is tweets over megaphones) while the mob was chasing him down. Please at least try to familiarize yourself with the events of the day. Why is that a tall order?

I watched what Gore did vs Bush. I never made the outlandish claims against Gore you make against Trump. I could have alleged Gore was trying to steal the election. I could have said he tried to overthrow an election.

Gore pushed for a recount in one state, where he lost by less than 2,000 votes, and where the difference was based on MECHANICAL issues. The recount was never completed, and when it was halted, Bush's lead had decreased to ~500 votes. In one. ****ing. State.

I supported Gore's recount. I supported Trump's recount. Gore's recount wasn't completed. Trump's was. And, for the record, I actually support the SC's justification for stopping Gore's recount. You are projecting your hypocrisy onto others.
