Now even 6.7% quarterly growth (or 5.0% annual) is "pathetic" again. His apologists believe it, while critical thinkers sigh and shake their heads.

Trump took over an economy that the Republicans had finally managed to get back on track after the worst economic recovery in modern history headed by Obama and Biden. And together that Republican Congress and Trump made it even better and even with COVID and the historical recovery while still under the Trump/Rep policies handed Biden an economy in a strong recovery which Biden and the Dems are now blowing trying to go back to those same failed Dem policies.

 

Presidents are not kings and do no solely government nor control the economy. And Dems including Senator and the President Obama took the last Bush/Republican deficit of a measly $161B to over $1,400B in just TWO YEARS and kept it over $1,000B for the next three while creating the worst economic recovery in modern history. It ONLY came down because the Republicans slowly took back the Congress and instituted the austerity and sequesters.

 

Although one difference, Trump killed Mr. Obatards crippling policies whereas Joe-joe brain bleeder has put them back in play, for instance no drilling or energy exploration on federal lands another is keystone... I might add are the top reason we see fuel prices up over a dollar since dimwit took office..

What makes zero sense is that you right wing lot blame Biden that +5% point change in economic growth is not good enough and that he needs to do more and more policies to accomplish that. And on the other hand whine all over the place how Biden inserts all kinds of economic policies that is just communistic and need to do less policies. This really makes no sense.

To call a +5% point change in economic growth a "disaster"... is something while it's a figure that Donald himself never managed to produce himself by a freaking longshot.... makes no sense as well.

 

Obama inherited the subprime mortgage crisis of GWB that crashed the economy around the entire globe. Obama needed to lend that money to give to the biggest American banks and companies in order to prevent a total bankruptcy of the entire country. This was much needed and works. Obama than handed over the economy to Donald on a golden platter. Donald who failed to produce better economic numbers in the first 3 years (to not include covid) compared to the last 3 years of Obama, even though he expanded the debt by 35% because that supposedly would repay itself back with this massively better functioning economy. A plan that totally failed!!! He gave money away to companies who just wasted it so hard that they needed governmental aid the first year of covid to safe them from going bankrupt. That's the economic legacy of Donald.
