Again, from your post you have not watched the video. There is a very long segment in the tunnels that explained everything. Very few "cuts". Just watch it, its long cuts of the rioters and what they were saying to each other while trying to breach the capital. They arent "interviews", its documentary video

I definitely haven't watched it. I don't have HBO Max, and I'm not going to subscribe to it just to watch this. I did watch the 2:19 trailer on IMDB, and it starts out with a post-January-6th interview of a guy saying "January 6th started out like pretty much any other day ..." and some scary background music. It has a short snippet from Donald Trump's speech, and then, again, post-event interview snippets from various other people voiced over the top of snippets of footage. If you're telling me none of those post-event voiceovers actually appear in the film itself, I'd be skeptical, but intrigued. Is that what you're claiming? No portion of anyone's post-event interview is aired in the film itself, just in the trailer? No voice-overs? No emotionally-manipulative scary music? No selective (and deceptive) editing of quotes?

 

Watch the 30 minutes of the tunnel ! You can take the interviews however you want, but the 30 minutes in the tunnell is LIVE action, not scripted or staged.

You seem to be giving conflicting versions of what the film shows. I don't think I'm making any claims about it. I relayed what I saw in the trailer and asked you some questions about it. I also conveyed my skepticism about its biases. Your duplicitousness has done nothing but reinforce that skepticism. Again, it doesn't really matter, because I'm not going to go out and subscribe to HBO to watch it. If there's 30 minutes of tunnel footage on YouTube you'd like to provide a link to, I'd be happy to give it 30 minutes of my time, but besides all of that, Byrd did not shoot Babbitt in the tunnel, so whatever was going on there has little if anything to do with her shooting.

That is completely false about the Capital police shooting. I guess having to make up stories is one way to deal with reality.

LOL... no, the Capitol building isn't the government. The people are the government. And last I looked the building was fine. Can't say the same thing about federal court houses, offices, etc around the country, can we. BLM argued that a drug addled felon who would have died from his fentanyl overdose eventually was a hero of their race. It doesn't get more ridiculous than that, or more dishonest.

 

I have an idea. Instead of fighting tooth and nail the ex T****ettes all come to the House, answer questions and then this whole thing could be put to bed with the necessary changes made to prevent it's recurrence. They could finish the job in two weeks.

 

Do you suppose that Adam Schiff and The Nads will be questioned as well? I mean, they were, you know, the ring leaders. And while we're at it, perhaps ms Nancy and Chucky could be questioned at the same time. It was their negligence after all...

 

Care to provide even one example of someone claiming any such thing. A peaceful demonstration is what Trump was calling for.

But it does. You act as tho these are wholly separate in cause and motive when in fact they are all part of the larger protest. supporting the same cause.

This 30 minutes in the tunnel is hundreds of "protestors" doing everything in their power to breach the capital. They do it in an organized and violent way. They are communicating back and forth between each other to not only breach the capital, but to also hurt the police, all the while screaming about "taking back the capital".

All due respect HD, but for a guy who has never seen it, your making some very broad statements about its content and your willingness to accept what it conveys based on your own assumptions. You dont have to pay for it if you dont want to, thats your choice. But if you really want to be informed that has to be part of that education.

 

BS. There is video of these people beating the police. The tunnel footage makes it very clear, but I full expect that you will deny the video, and make some other radically wrong, made from whold cloth statement based on your ideology.

So the government, absent any legal due process, and not following rules of engagement executes an unarmed woman, and you're for it. That says a lot. Would you say the same thing about George Floyd?
