It is a shame about the guns, although that's off topic in this thread.

Assange was not tortured in any way whatsoever.

Sorry, no. The truth isn't a lie.

The fact that the Syrian moderates were shopkeepers and not soldiers does not change the reality that they were moderates.

Wrong. The innocent Syrians who were merely trying to protect themselves from Assad's genocide very much existed.

Islamic State is not even remotely al-Qa'ida.

The two groups actively hate each other.

Wrong. It was Assad and Russia who armed Islamic State.

What the US and Kurds did was destroy Islamic State.

The following is an example of the extent of censorship in this country.

1 - The video of Pompeo saying that he was taught in the CIA to lie has now been removed from Youtube.

2 - The video showing all the events of January 6th including Antifa's Sullivan telling the police to remove the barriers and let the people enter the Capital building has been removed from Youtube.

3 - The video of the Russian pranksters getting a drunk Kolomosky to admit that it was his men that shot down the airliner in Ukraine, has also been removed from Youtube.

    Soviet Union anyone?

You can't go by the Covid deaths, because my grandaughter was told by nurses that anyone who dies no matter what the cause, they had to put down on the death certificate that they died from Covid. Were they doing it to scare people to take the vaccine? Maybe!

As for the gun deaths, that's from the inner cities and gangs. They will always get guns. The only way to stop them is by enforcing the laws. What I know though from the Ottoman massacres of the past, that the easiest way to exterminate populations is by eliminating their guns. They did it to my maternal ancestors in 1822 and to the Armenians a hundred years later.

Because of that, I've always been adamant about the right of people to bear arms and I did have quite a bit of arguments with my daughter about it. She realizes now that with the impositions on our freedoms, that I was right. The only thing that's probably holding our federal government in check are our armed militias.

Are you saying that the Russians intend to repeat the "Tonkin Incident"? How did the Americans do it in Vietnam?

    Yes, the Tonkin incident.
America, and later South Vietnam, did not want to go Communist (would you?)
    Same with South Korea actually.
But a better comparison of a Putin false flag would be like the one Hitler used for Poland.

Here's my analysis of the situation between Russia and Nato. There was an article by a neo con in a Washington periodical months ago saying that if Ukraine was to attack Russia and they defeated them in a battle then people might get rid of Vladimir Putin and it would cause a split between Russia and China.

Right after that, another neo con article came out saying that if they could break up the Russian Federation, then the US could gain Russia's $78 trillion worth of assets.

We know from the destruction of Iraq, Syria and Libya that what the neo cons want, the neo cons get. Washington's plan was to cause disruptions all around the Russian Federation, so the Ukrainians and Poles planned to assassinate Lukashenko and his family in Belarus. At the same time there would be protests in Moscow and problems in Kazachstan from the terrorists our helicopters had brought into Afghanistan from Syria.

While this was going on, Ukraine would attack and kill the civilians in Donetsk and Lugansk and this would upset the Russian people and they would overthrow Vladimir Putin.

Everything backfired though. As the Saints say, man makes his plans but God has His own. The situation now though is very dire. Lavrov complained that after all the lies about Nato not moving east, they're now telling us where we can station our own troops within our own country. I find Washington and Nato's hubris amazing.

Lavrov said that there's a saying about Russians and how it takes them a long time to harness a horse. "Well now the horse is harnessed." When asked about Russia's military intentions, Lavrov said that it's up to the Generals and when they feel the time is right to make a move.

UK sending weapons to defend Ukraine, says defence secretary

    Jan 17, 2022

" Britain is supplying Ukraine with short-range anti-tank missiles for self-defence after Russia amassed about 100,000 troops on its border, the defence secretary said.

Ben Wallace told MPs a small team of British troops would also be sent to Ukraine to provide training. "

Should be sending troops. So what if this 'inflames' Russia, NOT sending boots on the
ground might 'tempt' Russia. This is so like 1939

You mentioned Hitler.....And it brought back memories of concentration camps set up by the US government for US citizens. And about how American doctors intentionally infected citizens of Guatemala with syphilis.
But apparently you are more concerned about Russia, Poland, Ukraine .... and other countries. Is not it?

Since WW1, the USA has supported revolutions and fought wars in someone else's homeland. Because the American homeland has remained unscathed, Americans have become recklessly arrogant and aggressive. With its military troops stationed around the world, the USA has become a global empire. But like all empires, sooner or later it will fall.

The have been many statements lately from American sources that Russia will attack Ukraine - even within the next few weeks. If true, the only way Washington could know something like that, is if Ukraine is planning some kind of attack on the people of Donetsk and Lugansk that will force an invasion by Russia.

I'm going to state a few things here from a Greek site which might or might not be true depending on who their sources are. One is that the Russians are gradually emptying their embassies and consulates, especially their family members. This would mean that Russia is aware of Ukraine's intent.
According to the International Center for Strategic Intelligence, there is a Red Code alert. The following is a warning from Britain:

"We advise foreign citizens not to travel to Ukraine and those who are still there, to leave Ukrainian territory."
The US unlike Britain, hasn't issued a code red alert as yet, so it remains to be seen. Here's something of further interest because it's a precursor to WWIII.

Moscow believes Turkey is already in negotiations with the US to block Russian warships and merchant ships on the Bosphorus in the event of an attack on Ukraine, as part of the economic sanctions on Russia. Should this occur, it will lead to a bloodbath in Istanbul. I would advise all Christians to leave.

Russian sources point out that "a meeting of US-British-Turkish officials was held recently" on the Ukrainian Issue. What's interesting in the following directives and carrots to Turkey, is the stupidity of the Greek politicians. As soon as they gave Washington the right to build a base outside the straits -(to Russia's chagrin), Washington turned around and screwed them.

Now I could have told them that. In a few months, Turkey will be blockading and attacking the Greek islands - no doubt with Washington's blessings.
    1. Turkey to supply Ukraine with human resources (jihadists, etc.)
    2. To continuously provide logistical support to the Ukrainian Armed Forces
    3. Imposition of a naval blockade on Russian ships through the Straits
    4. Cancel Turkish Stream (Gas from Russia)
    5. Ratification of East-Med (To the detriment of Greece of course)
    6. Support NATO's aeronautical forces in the Black Sea.
    7. Implementation of the Turkish-Libyan Memorandum. (To the detriment of Greece's territorial rights in the Mediterranean.).

    Ah yes... always America.
America had slaves - never mind that more than half a million Americans died to free them.
So let's ignore that EVERY nation once had slaves (with about half of Africa being enslaved
to the other half) and endless condem America for slavery, colonialism, sexism, racism, empire,
oppression, war crimes, global warming and yes, syphilis.

I have heard this several times:

Me - why do you hate America?
Hater - because they are the ones causing the most green house emissions.

    later

Me - China is now the worse polluter
Same hater - yes but that doesn't let America off the hook, and they learnt it from America. And
besides, America is racist, homophobic, sexist, imperialist, oppressive, greedy, militarist, destructive,
    exploitative, Capitalist rah rah rah...

It's time China ruled the world. They gave Australia 14 points mandate for change last year. Better
get cracking I suppose - controlling the press is one we should start on.

Not true. I love USA. You can call me a fan of the United States.....But....only until the 80s.
With the beginning of Reaganomics, when Americans began to be systematically turned into vegetables, the era of Great America came to an end.
Freedom-loving citizens of the country were systematically driven into the framework of total surveillance. Freethinking Americans have been replaced by television.
From hardworking stoics, able to overcome any obstacles, US citizens have been turned into a herd of obedient sheep.
And yes, I don't like it.
Perhaps I am prejudging, but look for yourself at the external manifestations.
For example, there were legendary cars - Mustang, Corvette, Camaro ..... etc. The American car was a symbol of style .... And now what? Gray, uninteresting cars, with a dull design, which technically lag behind German or Japanese cars so much that it’s even indecent to mention it. They lag behind even Korean and Chinese cars in terms of price and quality.
Harley Davidson went from a legend to a museum piece with a big name.
Where are the new Kiss, Aerosmith, The Doors? (But it should be noted that British rock is the best rock in the world.)
Where are the new MarkTwains, Dreisers, Jackie Londons...?
And if you look at the presidents? Compare: Reagan - Trump, Kennedy - Biden, Bush Sr. - Bush Jr.... But there are still modern Clinton and Obama. Obvious degradation.
I don't even want to talk about Hollywood. This is generally some kind of shame when compared with the past Hollywood.....
In general, what is now is not the United States that admired.

Reaganomics pulled the US out of a severe recession into a prosperity that continued for decades so I can't understand why you would criticize that since the proof is in the pudding.

As for the moral decline, it began with Hollywood. When someone asked the writers why they were pushing liberal moral agendas, since the movies weren't more profitable then the other ones, the answer was: "We want to see how far we can go."

So instead of setting higher standards of behavior for the audience to follow, the writers did the opposite. Then came Bill Clinton and we ended up with all the problems we have today:

    1 - He allowed GMO's
2- Allowed 6 corporations to buy up the MSM and turned them into self-serving propaganda networks.
3- Was the first to go against the UN Security Council and invade a sovereign nation.
4 - Went against Reagan's promise to Gorbachev not to advance into former Warsaw nations.
5 - Gave grants to private schools that would push liberal moral agendas.

I think maybe we should agree on a 500-mile buffer zone along the Russian border, where NO NATO or Russian troops or weaponry may be present.

of course that would require Russia to withdraw all its forces from eastern Ukraine. even so-called "volunteers".

Prediction: Russia will take the provinces of Donetsk, Luhansk, and, east of the Dnieper River, portions of Zaporizhia, and Kherson... probably by about the end of March. Russia may also 'absorb' the friendly 'breakaway' Moldovan province of Transnistria (the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic), with which it has had a cooperative relationship throughout the period following the implosion of the Soviet Union.

Russia could conceivably take all of Ukraine, but that still seems doubtful to me. 'Western' Europe would probably shrug off Russia taking some (but NOT ALL) of Ukraine, largely because nobody in Europe wants to go charging out into the misery of winter and fight Russian armed forces in the icy, snowy, muck and mud of Eastern Europe. Besides, the Russians would be welcomed as liberators everywhere I've mentioned, except in some portions of Zaporizhia and Kherson, but as long as Russia would stay east of the Dnieper, Kiev would learn to 'live with it'....
