Your claim that teaching history makes us destined us to repeat it is beyond ridiculous. In fact, teaching history teaches us the good from the bad so we DON'T repeat it. There is a great saying I'm sure you have heard "those who refuse to learn from history are destined to repeat it".

What are you taking about. We know EXACTLY what he has banned, it is ANYTHING related to Black History. You can call it CRT all you want, but whats being washed is black history that in any way makes whites look bad. Anything that relates to black history is now labeled CRT, yet 10 years ago, it was just black history. The history were teaching didn't change, it was the white guys who thought they were being treated unfairly that changed and demanded that we stop teaching that some of our white ancestors did some bad things.

And for the record CRT does exist, and is a valid study. Do you deny that their were laws on the books that were based on race that were detrimental to those races ?

The only ones who believe that gender identity IMPLIES "all" sexual concepts are... BS. CRT is history. It is the study of laws that were designed to hurt specific races, and that racism exists/exited in laws. Denial that that existed in our laws is ridiculous. We literally had laws that overtly did that. Segregation was legal until 1954. I just dont understand those who think that 1. It didn't exist, therefore its made up, and 2. That there aren't still leftover rules/laws that still allow it to exist, and that we should not study that to make america better

Nobody is claiming YOU did anything, but the FACT is that our ancestors did, and is what is taught. At least you're honest in saying that we shouldn't teach CRT because it makes white people possibly look bad, but how the hell do we grow, and learn as a society if we only teach things that make us look good. Not teaching our real history is yet another instance of white people doing the wrong thing

I have news for you, white males in this country did bad things. We owned slaves, we used our power to oppress other races, and we used that power to legalize that oppression. There is no denying that we did these things, so why should we not teach it so we can grow and get better as a society ?

 

We always taught slavery. Can you point me towards a time where we didn't teach about slavery?

We do not need to dwell on the past like anyone in the present can change it or is responsible for it.

There is no case anyone can make for introducing sex to kids, especially the warped prog vision of sex, that wont end in an absolute ragefest of a battle. And since there is no critical need for a 5 year old to know this stuff anyways the logical solution is, again, leave the damn kids alone.
