    Oh... I post satire everywhere. But most of the satire I post is my own. I just thought this one was particularly well written (It's The New Yorker. I'm not THAT good) and should make many right-wingers cringe because it illustrates perfectly the kind of fascist they support.

    Not sure what "lie" you are referring to. But it's not only based on the "Don't Say Gay" bill, but on DeSantis banning math books claiming that they taught CRT. Except the part about Matth=CRT is REAL. Even though equally ridiculous.

    As of today Florida has banned 0ver 45 MATH BOOKS, because….CRT ?

    CRT is now taught in the math we use ?

    If I understand your post correctly, the state has the obligation to purchase EVERY SINGLE math book that is available for sale, because if they don't buy it, its being BANNED!

    You post makes it appear DeSantis said that and does not state it is satire, you should as the mods to remove it and then respost it with

    which was clearly at the bottom of the satirical article and which should have been there in the first place.

    It has been said that the political right is so because they are ignorant of the truth. Your cohort used to be outraged at the possibility of censorship and any chipping away at freedom of speech. But that was before your cohort embraced those things. Now they're removing books from libraries because they offend their reactionary preferences.

    The bill it refers to is real. The notion that its targeting homosexuals is fake. Go read it, its not long. Once you do you'll fully understand the self-satirizing I'm referring to. These fools manufactured something to fight against out of thin air and the New Yorker doubled down on that stupidity without realizing it when they ran this 'satire' piece you posted.
